Official TNA Against All Odds Thread: 2/10/08

Well, the card sucks so far.

You mean they are having *gulp* rematches to *gulp* end/keep storylines?

The thing is.. most likely 2 of the 3 are finished at AAO. Angle/Cage might be as well. If you look at the stipulation of the Lethal/Guns vs. 3D/Devine it's obvious that's over, Young/Storm is most likely over, Joe will likely get put in the match at AAO since he got "screwed". So, atleast 2 of the 3 will be finished.

The problem is that Angle vs. Cage was just done last month. I can't remember the last time the main event two PPV's in a row was the exact same. When the WWE does that, usually the first one was a DQ and it wasn't the actual last match on the show both times.

I would care more about the Team 3D match if this was the first gimmick match between the six. But if they have already done UX, ladder, and table matches, why would I be excited for a street fight?

And Storm/Young feud has been terrible, stuff like this and the Shark Boy iMPACT! stuff is what holds TNA down.

And we're also probably looking at:

Abyss vs. Judas Mesias (I'll go out on the limb and say gimmick match)

Booker vs. Roode

Kong vs. ODB

AJ & Tomko vs. VKM or Joe & Nash

Kaz vs. Black Reign

Yup, looks great . It's like a watered down Final Resolution. FR probably got around 20,000 buys. I can't imagine how this one will do. I think the Angle/Joe-3D PPV will have some competition.

Wouldn't it be awesome if AJ helped Angle win, and then suddenly turned on Kurt after the match? Ditching the coward gimmick( which has run its' course)..

I might be the only one looking forward to this show..

Angle/Cage III - They've had to good matches & then you add in a possibiltly of adding in Samoa Joe & you've got a great match (think back to all the Joe/Angles & Cage/Joe matches).

ODB/Kong - Despite what people think O.D.B is SUPER-TALENTED & think you mix in Kong's talent. Good match. Plus, they might throw in Gail Kim.

Young/Storm - They've had what.. one(?) match & it was good.


Machismo/Guns vs. 3D/Devine - Come on? It might be a drug out storyline but the matches have been good.


IMO - It's a decent card that I'm looking forward to. Now, I just gotta see if I can order it.

Which TNA show haven't you looked foward to?

i have never seen you say anything bad about TNA... and if you have it's like once every million days...

I like how TNA is ruining the X-Division one way or another... No matter who wins, TNA is shooting the X-Division in the foot. The thing that made the division so innovative in the first place was the fact that it was a division primarily for Cruisers but with an obvious "No Limits" feel to it hence title holders like Joe and Angle... If the Guns and Machismo win, then the one thing that made the X-Division different from every other Cruiserweight division is completely abolished. and if 3Devine wins then it's just gone... either way the end result may as well be 3D winning because with the other stipulation, I will lose all interest in the X-Division.

out of the 4 matches posted here, 2 of them excite me and 0 of them are matches I haven't seen alot before... 1 of them I don't mind because it has my favorite wrestler in it and the other one features historically great matches but represent a feud that has run it's course and 2 guys that were billions times better in the WWE...
