Is there anyone who fully enjoyed that show?
From the sounds of it, it seems like anyone who enjoyed needs to start selling what kinda crapthey're smoking.

Good point... I would actually put AJ as somewhat an enforcer/special ref as appointed/forced by Angle in the Christian/Tomko match... I would have had a Tomko/Styles Vs Machine Guns Tag match but they can't really hold off the Tomko/AJ Vs Christian feud going on here just so the Guns can get the titles... I could see the Guns winning the titles even before Destination X and defending them in Elevation X... I'm trying to get in the mind of a TNA booker while at the same time having some semblance of good booking going on too

I missed the whole show, up until the Guns/3D match. That match was very good, and the Main Event was ace. Thats just me though.

That Cage/Angle match was ing intense. I was on the edge of my seat, I thought it was over so many times. Add that to the 6 Man Street Fight, and the PPV was worth those two matches alone. Cage/Angle is MOTY so far in my opinion, as far as WWE/TNA goes

Shouldn't you be stealing some plastic action figures right about now? People get things they don't deserve. I don't deserve that tag because I don't even buy nor am I interested in children's toys. You don't deserve the right to speak freely because you're nothing but a burden and annoyance to those looking to have a good time. Oh let me guess they just randomly gave you a bad trader tag? Lmao. The first step is denial. Please, little boy, do not talk to me if you are pathetic enough to rip someone off over a little piece of plastic that you will find a waste of money by the time you're 16. Having a good time? Sorry but this is the TNA Against All Odds discussion thread. And I am discussing the horrible ending that TNA re-uses on 90% of their pay-per-views. The whole "pretend to be good but screw the face" ordeal that they've used with Kurt Angle, Karen Angle, Kevin Nash, AJ Styles, Tomko, and tons of others. Look a few months back, Christian was the top heel in TNA and people were begging for AJ and Tomko to turn face. So what does TNA do? Turns Christian face and leaves AJ and Tomko as heels. Tomko is officially the 2008 version of Monty Brown. He is a heel, but becomes SUPER over as a face, one of the biggest faces in TNA, and then they pull the plug on him. TNA seems to screw up everything they've accidentally got right along the way. If someone wants to argue what I've said, be my guest. But there is no logical way you can. I guarantee it.

I think Tomko is still going good. I'm going to guess he takes out Angle on Impact, and claims he attacked Cage to prove he is in it for himself

No need to be so pushy about it, I was just suggesting something. Now I can see why people complain about you. While that is likely the truth, I was throwing out another possibility. No need to be a jackass about it

No need to be so pushy about it, I was just suggesting something. Now I can see why people complain about you. While that is likely the truth, I was throwing out another possibility. No need to be a jackass about it How is it being a jackass? I've gotten my hopes up plenty of times. Let's just take one example: Samoa Joe. 1.) Samoa Joe defeats Jeff Jarrett at No Surrender 2006 cleanly, everyone says that at Bound for Glory, Joe will win the title, doesn't happen. 2.) People said "Oh, well Joe will defeat Sting in a retirement match at Genesis". Nope, he is hot-shotted in a forgettable feud with Kurt Angle at Genesis and LOSES. 3.) Then they said "Oh, well he will defeat Angle in the rematch and go on to face Abyss at Final Resolution". Nope, he LOSES to Angle again at Final Resolution and I was there for the abortion of a pay-per-view. 4.) They said it was time for him to win at Destination X. But nope, it was not. And even though it was my favorite pay-per-view match of 2007, he still didn't win. 5.) Rest assured, his time is coming at Slammiversary...or is it? Nope, Angle wins and "turns" on Samoa Joe after the match. 6.) Angle and Joe win the tag team championships at Victory Road in a match with the most predictable ending of all time. Team 3D actually winning? Lmao. But don't worry, his time is coming at Hard Justice. 7.) Four weeks and seventeen face/heel turns later, Kurt Angle defeats Samoa Joe to win every title in TNA Wrestling. 8.) Hopefully Joe's time is coming at Bound for Glory? Nope. Kurt Angle is put into a random and unnecessary feud with Sting that didn't spike the buyrates at all. Just for Sting to win the title in a MAIN PAY-PER-VIEW main event with tons of interference. Since when (besides WM17) do you ever see that much interference in a Wrestlemania main event? Never. And here we are, two years later and Samoa Joe is still not the TNA World Heavyweight Champion and when he DOES win it, it will not be as special as it would of been two years ago.

^Yeah, When Joe wins the belt, not alot of people will care anymore. I wanted him to win it so bad for almost 3 years now and just gave up on him winning the belt...

You got to strike when the iron is hot. When Joe wins the title, it will be cool and all, but it wouldn't of been as epic as it would of been 2 years or so ago. Think of this, Samoa Joe wins the title against Jeff Jarrett at Bound for Glory 2006, and holds the title for a full year, when Christopher Daniels finally steps up and defeats him at Bound for Glory 2007. I guarantee with proper build up, it would of drew A LOT more then Angle/Sting.

Hence the reason I pretty much gave up on Joe winning the title after he was buried by Angle.

It wasn't that bad, The 3D/Devine vs. MCMG/Lethal match was great, I enjoyed the Barbed Wire match, the Angle vs. Cage was awesome. I actually like Tomko being pushed, he's not that bad of a wrestler. ODB vs. Kong was pretty good. Horrible booking on the under card may be right, but WWE's the same way if not worse.

Man, I remember like a year ago and before you had to almost watch every damn TNA PPV because they would always have amazing shows or something you just couldn't miss.
These days, the PPV's seem like really long iMPACT shows.
