Will there be any differences?

I have both PS 3 and 360 and i am a huge NHL fan, i buy the game every year. But this year i have an issue, i have the past NHL's for X Box but am sick of the fragile-ness of the X Box and have been leaning towards the PS 3 alot lately, however i love playing NHL with others but only have one controller

Are there any differences between NHL 09 on X Box and PS 3?

Is it worth it to buy another controller?
