What I think is, why would you have a real superstar (c'mon none of the guys in ECW are leegit stars yet) make his anticipated return on a show that pulls in TNA-like numbers.

is it just me or was nattie hot as hell on ecw. after christians stint in ecw which show would you rather have him on? smackdown would be nice.. fueds with edge, both hardys. and raw would have fueds with like punk, jericho..

Christian isn't really a "legit star" yet either. He was a midcarder in WWE, and a World Champion in TNA... A company that pulls in TNA-like numbers. The options were: -Start him on Raw or Smackdown in the midcard. -Start him on Smackdown as Edge's lackey who is trying to murder Jeff Hardy. -Start him on ECW where he can be right at the top of the show. I'm surprised by him being on ECW, but I'd say it was the right place to put him, even though it felt a little flat for a "big" return. He can be a top guy on ECW, and if he succeeds, he can transition to one of the bigger shows. |

Personally, I think putting Christian on ECW is bloody brilliant. It certainly shocked people. Did ANYONE predict this? No. WWE got our attention. They said "Don't miss a show. Not even ECW, because you never know what is going to happen." I am guilty of being one to say that ECW does not deserve my time, and I have never watched an episode. That changes after tonight.
