Haven't watched ECW in a long time but I watched tonight. Pretty damn good, enjoyed it alot. The opening match was very good, Tyson Kidd is going to be awesome, and Christian in the MITB was predictable, but it was still a good match.

I was just watching an old dvd, and Billy Kidman had a match. He has one of the best theme songs of all time, and I loved the shooting star press. I always thought he should have been competing for U.S/I.C championships instead of C.W.
Of course I just mention this because someone in the last page said he should come back.

I understand making the focus of the show be the MITB qualifier, but not have your Champion even make an appearance or be talked about? That's too odd. |

Yeah, I liked that. But one thing that pisses me off, is that when Chavo was about to do the 3 amigos, the crowd booed. So they should either 1) Turn him face or 2) Make him not do Eddie's moves. |

Very much so, I know ECW is very limited on time - its rough to try to incorporate everything you want to into a 60 minute (just over 40 with commercials) program, but they only needed a brief interview to just assure that his face gets on TV. Going into a little bit more depth than what I mentioned earlier, I was pleasantly surprised to see Miz and Primo get a decent amount of time. I think the brunt of the reason they were given that opportunity is so that they could really get into depth with Carlito/Morrison arguing on commentary, but thats fine. As long as it builds up the match and gets people to watch Smackdown, thats really all they need to do. I like that they're giving meaning to the tag team titles - even if they are only doing it on ECW. This was the first time I've seen DJ Gabriel and Tyson Kidd wrestle, and I have to say I was quite impressed with Kidd's ability. He seems like he's got a nice future ahead of him, but his look is a huge downfall. I can't take him seriously with that ridiculous haircut. If the Cruiserweight division were still around, he would be a perfect fit. The Money in the Bank battle royal was a cool match, nothing special, but it served it's purpose. I'm glad Christian is getting a spot at Wrestlemania, I'd like to see him win Money in the Bank, the only other person that would really make sense is MVP, and I personally prefer Christian. Glad to see Kozlov and Khali eliminated early, if it were up to me, neither would make the Mania card, but it was a bit odd to see Kozlov pushed so hard and then end up being eliminated so early on ECW. |

I knew from the second TJ debuted, you would hate him cause his style is SLIGHTLY similar to your cream dream, CM Punk. Everyone always says Punk was better in ROH when he wasn't doing his shoot crap, so I guess it shouldn't matter if somebody else does it for him now, should it? As for Swagger, he is good... period. CM Punk didn't deserve that World title reign so you're not the one to talk. |
