Hey guys. Thought I'd just drop by really quickly with another mini-critique. I don't have the time any more to write those huge ones I used to.
Finlay & Dreamer vs. Mike Knox & Jack Swagger: Well because of that ill-placed commercial break, we barely got to see anything. Swagger looks pretty average so far. I think his smiling-all-the-time gimmick is pretty clever despite its enormous simplicity, almost just like Dof Ziggler's introduction/handshake gimmick. Not too sure what I think of Finlay wearing leprechaun hats though. I wish WWE would let Knox really break out of the box already, I really like the guy and think he's got something special going for him. It's weird because WWE seemed to really commit to him when he debuted, then they seemed to lose faith. He's just kind of going along smoothly now, which is OK, but he deserves more. Rating: *
Jamie Noble vs. Mark Henry: What can I really say here? I don't understand why WWE keeps booking Noble to wrestle matches he will predictably lose. He's more than proved his worth to the company. At least Noble's in an actual feud at the moment, but I really don't see the point of this match. Maybe Regal should've dared Noble to face Henry. At least they would've gave this match a purpose. Rating: dud
Main Event Tag: Pretty good match here. Two good 8-man's in a week, good record there. I really liked the heel tandem here, and hope we get to see this foursome again in the future. My only problem? Could a guy like Ricky Ortiz be any more out of place? This guy has no talent, no charisma, no nothing. WWE has dozens of FCW guys to choose from, and they waste their time with this doofus? Why not bring D-Lo Brown to ECW and let him take Ortiz's place, if they so desperately want another guy? D-Lo gave a lot to the company in '99, and WWE dropped the ball with him ever since '00. They owe him big time. They're dropping the ball with him again, while a waste like Ortiz gets to shine in a light he doesn't deserve to bask. But at least he didn't get in the way of the quality of this match. He just didn't add anything. Rating: **1/2
The Final Verdict: C
The show gets away with a C, because it's only an hour and I took that into consideration, and the main event was good. The opener could've been better if they dumped that squash, which was pointless, and they gave that extra time to the opener. That squash was the very pinnacle of filler, since Noble had no reason for being on ECW or picking a fight with Henry. I understand he has a gimmick of sticking his foot in his mouth, but his business is on Raw with Regal. In conclusion, get rid of Ortiz, get D-Lo over here, stop booking squashes that waste time and serve no purpose and keep putting on those great 8-man's.

I was disappointed that Team Punk didn't win. Every week that goes by he's just looking less and less like a man who was just the World Champion, and that's hard to say because when he was Champ was the most I've watched RAW in years.

Let Bourne win... Chavo without Bam, without Edge, is a storyless boring Chavo. He's a talented wrestler and I respect him but he's..... boring. I think him and Hardy have faced off many times but Im not sure.
Here's to hoping Jack SWAGGAAA gets some TV time, but he probably wont be in a qualification match. Fans probably wouldnt vote him anyway. Watch it'll be him vs. Ricky Ortiz, Ortiz will win, and since WWE shoves it down our throats that hes an extremley over face, theyll rig it for him to win the vote and title.
