If Kurt Angle was really headed to the X-division, and Booker T and Scott Steiner were released... I'd be all for it. He brings a strong TNA flavor to TNA which is what it needs. He'd create some fresh feuds while rekindling old ones... maybe going so far as to establishing young main eventers like James Storm, Robert Roode, and Alex Shelley (I can dream damn it.)
On the other hand... TNA's main event scene is one giant cluster
. It desperately needs some order (and pruning) because it's basically one giant feud involving Joe, Nash, Sting, AJ, Cage, Rhyno, Team 3D, Booker, Angle, Trigg, and Karen. If WWE has a "glass ceiling"... TNA's ceiling is made of concrete reinforced with steel plating. The brightest young star with all the main event potential in the world couldn't break through... Jarrett would more than likely decrease those odds even further.
So, interested? Sure.
Excited? I'll reserve that emotion for when I know for certain Jarrett has no plans to put over Super Eric.
