And of course MEM has to win.  Well yea thats how they build there heat. Say they are the best then back it up. So when the young guys do knock them off it means something. |

It's not for the title though.. so I see no problem with it. Even if it was.. no problem since it's not about weight limits.

Great impact this week. thats 3 in a row for me. Glad they have storylines that are making sense and going somewhere. Is someone in creative getting clue? Are they making a turn? remains to be seen, but I think Foley really has added to the show. Awesome build up and great song by disturbed. It's good to see every match be meaningful in hte ppv. No prince justice league, etc . will be watchin the ppv. keep it rolin tna

I actually think Rhino is one of the most underrated workers in TNA at the moment, much like he was in WWE. - I loved that TNA initially pushed him to the main event, and I love that he's still getting a good showing three years on. |

I said it in another thread but yeah... MEM is cheating a little too much for my liking. First Booker with his Legends title, then Scott Steiner with the brass knucks. These guys are supposed to be legends. Guys who uphold the respectful, hard working end of the business while using it as an excuse to keep guys down. They shouldn't be hypocrital heels... they should truly believe in their cause ala Chris Jericho's Save Me gimmick. Unless Sting is the only "Chris Jericho" in the pack and later realizes his fellow legends don't share his values, this stable is slowing falling into the "nothing spectacular" category.
Steiner ruined the mystique of MEM. Before, it was an assembly of big name main eventers who had taken completely different career paths. Kevin Nash is the old WWF and nWo star, Sting was THE babyface of WCW, Kurt Angle is the big name WWE star, and Booker T was the WCW/WWE star. Now it has basically degenerated into a WCW stable plus Kurt Angle. However if Christian were to join MEM the balance between WWE/WCW would be restored, even though a 4 man stable is far more effective than a 5 or 6 man.
This was an enjoyable Impact though. For some reason I'm starting to like Creed and Eric Young... Creed's offense was quite enjoyable when he didn't cut a crack-induced pre-match promo, and Eric Young's seriousness is a much needed, and refreshing change.
In regards to Bashir's character... can I get some eggs with that huge pile of re-hash? I mean who wants to see a less effective, less heelish version of Muhammad Hassan? Better yet, who wants to see a gimmick centered around an event that had been beaten to death by the media, and has only in the last couple years been laid to rest? I'm bored with the terrorist heel.
Where is Sonjay Dutt? I miss his great heel promos and ringwork. This man should be the heel to build the X-division around.
Hell, put the X-division title on Tanahashi. That is instant credibility.
I'm loving Beer Money Inc. The tag division as a whole has vastly improved.
The women's division is growing stale and with Rhaka Khan entering it, less credibile... if she's not Scott Steiner's valet she should just be released.

Why are they still promoting that there's 3 title matches on iMPACT.
When only one occured? Surely after the tapings they should change the preview to what actually happend.

Is it just me or does anyone else find that if the Main Event Mafia was operating in any other fed, ala the WWE that they would be the faces? I mean during Scott Steiner's promo he was getting cheered and ordinarily the legends are the good guys while everyone else against the legends tend to be the bad guys?
