People said the same about ECW and look how well they did on TNN. They were the highest rated show on the network before WWE came in and took the network. Irrelevant. ECW was redefining the wrestling world. ROH is not. They are just the most well known independent. ROH would translate into a much worse version of TNA on tv. It wouldnt have the recognizable names. It would put on better wrestling......but it wont get it done. Most wrestling fans dont know what good wrestling is. Also, ROH is a niche product. It goes to the venues it does and atttracts a few thousand at the most for a reason. its not going to MSG or Ford Field or anything of the like and doing even half the business WWE does. Hell....I dont even think it could compete with TNA and TNA is only drawing a few thousand to its PPVs on the road. Recognizable names?? TNA was getting 1.0 ratings when they started up on Spike... They brought in Nash, Sting, Christian, Booker T, and Kurt Angle.. Could you remind me of the ratings they now get?? 1.0! Name recognition is nothing. ROH could build their own stars easier than they could bringing old ones in. Old ones would no doubt help, but it's not going to change a whole lot of anything

Sadly enough despite me being a high ROH fan, I do not seeing it growing out of a regional tv deal. Going national would be very bad for it in the long term unless it grew slowly like it has been doing. They don't need a national tv deal yet.

If ROH were to get a deal I think F/X would be an appropiate network to run on. Then in a perfect world ROH would get great rating and get primetime specals on Fox!
