Whether you were bombing hail mary's or not doesn't matter. If you were running the ball and your opponent couldn't stop that, when it's the 4th quarter and you're up big, give the poor guy a break and either bring in the subs or deliberately try to run the clock out and not gain yards.

I'd only want the ball if I could win. If I'm down by 40 with two minutes left, and I can't stop the other guy or produce anything on offense, I just want the game to end.

Allright, whatever, doesn't matter. You could have been just running a lot or you could have been throwing bombs. Doesn't really matter, point is, you ran up the score. Don't do it again or I'm kicking you out.
