The Sun out of the United Kingdom is reporting that Mick Foley has informed one of his close friends that he will be heading to TNA. Apparently, Mick is so adamant about going, he is willing to return to the ring to work a limited schedule comparable to Sting. His friend told The Sun that Mick will do anything to further his legacy and help put TNA on the map.
Wait, how is he going to put TNA on the map? Fall off Lethal Lockdown?

(Take this for what it's worth):
The UK Sun, quoting a "friend close to" Mick Foley is reporting that Foley will leave WWE for TNA when his current deal expires on 9/1. The report claims Foley will work select dates similar to Stings current deal. According to a TNA source, the idea hasn't been discussed nor has their been any conversations between the two sides. Still, it's logical conclusion and I wouldn't be shocked if it didn't happen.
Foley had verbally agreed to a TNA deal before signing his most recent WWE contract. Foley wrote in his last book "Hardcore Diaries" that he felt his relationship with Vince McMahon was never the same after he informed McMahon he intended to sign with TNA, even after changing his mind and remaining with WWE.
I would also expect that Foley will start popping up for Ring Of Honor once his WWE deal expires as he's a big fan of the company and has made a number of appearances there in the past, including a few where he just showed up and appeared on his own.

Abyss vs Foley BFG Make it happen TNA Hell no. Bound For Glory needs to be a show for the people who deserve it and earned it - ala Joe, Styles, Storm, Roode, Kim, Taylor, etc etc - not some match where you've got a guy who (IMO) can't go and a guy noone gives two shits about.

There would be nothing wrong with Abyss/Foley, it isn't like they'd be battling over thew TNA World Title. An Abyss/Foley feud might actually be a bright spot for a horrible product.

I think Foley would be great for TNA. Even if he wasn't wrestling he's known on many more levels than a lot of the ex WWE guys they have. You've got one of the top book sellers. He's the kind of guy that is known by more than just wrestling fans. I really hope he comes to TNA.

Meh this won't help their ratings by much.

This will not help there ratings a lot, if at all. However, I think Foley has a decent mind for wrestling and wouldn't mind if he did a little writing for them. But more than likely, he'll just appear every few months and have a match or 2.
Heres to hoping for Foley vs. Abyss at some point.

Taylor hasn't earned a damn thing - at least not the Knockout's title.. As for Foley - I don't think this is true, but Foley in TNA would be nothing short of sacrilege..

I don't think this is true, but Foley in TNA would be nothing short of sacrilege.. It's a business, you go where you think you can get good money and be treated well. It's not like Foley won't be back in WWE someday. If Vince can accept Jeff Hardy back, he'll accept Foley back.

I can't see him getting back in the ring at this stage of his life. He'd be good for maybe a writer or maybe a commentator but his in-ring days are done.

It's more his personality and his mind than anything. He's very creative and just a good guy. What company wouldn't want a guy like that? He could add a lot to the business and I'm sure he's pretty well respected by just about every guy there.
