I started following them reciently & picked up the PWG Sells Out yesterday at Best Buy. Besides some highlight videos on youtube with bits & pieces of news, I don't know much about them. So if you're a fan, tell me what it is you like about them & what I should look into. I've heard the best shows are usually the BOLA ones but I havent seen any of those yet.

I'll edit my post in a minute with what I think, on paper, are good shows.
None of which are on PWG Sells Out since a lot of people hate comps when they have a match on DVD or vice versa.
Are You Adequately Prepared to Rock?- Features a main event with Frankie Kazarian vs AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels as well as a tag match between B-Boy and Super Dragon vs Briscoes.
Tango & Cash Invitational- The teaming of Super Dragon and the American Dragon, and other tag team goodness.
Reason for the Season- Suppose to be a good show with Pearce vs Kazarian in a cage, Styles vs Romero and other interesting matches.
Ernest P Worrell Memorial- El Generico vs Kevin Steen vs AJ Styles vs Christopher Daniels
All Star Weekend IV (Night #2)- Entire card
...just to name a few.

Their All Star Weekend shows and BOLA are always their best shows. The problem with PWG is that most shows receive no hype at all. The two major shows seem to almost always deliver while the others usually don't in my opinion.

As already mentioned all the BOLA's and All Star Weekend shows are awesome. This year's and last years DDT's are also top notch.
Personally I've enjoyed all the PWG stuff i've seen, even the less hyped shows. The only release I can truly say I've hated is Styles vs Daniels Iron Man 60 Min...... 55 mins of rest holds, 5 mins of action.

I really enjoy their stuff. The only thing I don't like about them is their lack of commentary. It just makes the matches seem longer and you almost go to sleep if they are doing rest holds. At some points, you can literally hear a pin drop. But when the action gets going, it gets going.

Usually you can turn the commentary on or off with the AUDIO button on your DVD remote.
I can recommend last years BOLA, and whatever show has Super Dragon/Davey Richards against the Kings of Wrestling

PWG is currently the only US Indy I can still be bothered to follow. They always put on a solid show, yet none of them really receive a lot of hype outside ASW's, DDT4's, BOLA's and Anniversary shows. This year they had a very hot Hero/Tornado feud with a blow-out match at Life During Wartime (their 5th Anniversary show) which hasn't been edited yet, but will be soon.
Other things worth checking out are anyhting that featured Quick Silver & El Generico as a tag team, anything with Super Dragon vs. Kevin Steen (especially their amazing match at Astonishing X-Mas) and the whole of Super Dragon & Davey Richards tag title reign (with amazing matches against AJ/Daniels, Cape Fear, Los Luchas, Jack/Roddy and others).

What I like about PWG is that they present a type of wrestling that is very Colt Cabana/Scotty Goldman esque. It is very good but it is on a level where the characters are prominent and you know what they are going to do. Same with ROH but ROH is stiff. PWG is not stiff it is a great show and more entertainment.
