n what is being called "the worst gathering of the juggalo's of all time" was what is being called "the greatest JCW event of all time." Well, can't have everything right? At least we got a solid card and a solid show out of a terrible weekend! 1) Sexy Slim Goody beat Gangrel - Gangrel was said to be pretty fat compared to his WWE run. I actually thought he had retired, so go figure. 2) Mad Man Pondo and Abdullah The Butcher fought to a no contest - Abby is over 70 and still spilling blood in 2008, awesome. 3) The Bloody Brothers beat Weedman and Human Tornado. 4) Pipers Pit made its JCW debut and the special guest at this time was recently released TNA road agent, Scott D'amore. D'Amore apparently got owned by Piper. 5) 2 Tuff Tony and Boondox beat Tracy Smothers and Bull Pain - Anyone remember Bull Pain from WCW? 6) The Outsiders beat 2 Jobbers - Classic Hall and Nash comedy and they were playing the part of the Juggalo World Order. However, things started off ugly as I posted earlier, Nash had to attempt to calm down the fans. Juggalo's throw faygo every year, but apparently, this year they were throwing EVERYTHING at EVERY wrestler who stepped in the ring. 7) Cpl. Robinson beat Raven in a ladder match. A Juggalo fan entered the ring and Raven destroyed him too. No Shows(They were all advertised): 1. The Nasty Boys 2. Chris Masters 3. Disco Inferno 4. Trevor Murdoch 5. Sabu 6. Billy Bong 7. Zach Gowen 8. Conrad Kennedy 9. Kowabata 10. Goldust As I mentioned earlier, a man in his 20's died due to an overdose. The entire show, the Juggalo's were doing drugs, dealing drugs and simply out of their heads. If it matters, The Bloody Brothers/Weedman & Tornado match was for the JCW Tag Team titles.
This is like the third time a fan has died at The Gathering.. I know Diehard Dustin Lee's cousin died at the 2005 Gathering.. I understand it's a different kind of show.. but c'mon.. people need to use common sense and not act like douchebags. I like a ton of guys JCW uses, but refuse to get any of their DVDs because their fans are asshats and ruin the shows.

So wait, fans are dying at the shows of drug overdoses, and nobody does anything? Man, some wrestling promotion, eh? its not just a wrestling promotion, the problem is the "juggalos" i am a fan of ICP and Twiztid and i used to go to all the shows, hell i have the hatchet man tattooed on me but in no way do i consider myself a juggalo, these kids think its just an excuse to get ed up on drugs and stuff. honestly, and i know this is gonna sound like a dick thing, but im glad that kid died one less piece of garbage around. the gathering used to be were 'Juggalos" could go and chill with other fans and have fun but now it turned into this big drug party and its starting to get out of hand. |

I'd assume they were into the hardcore ****, I can understand smoking weed at shows, but if things get into needles and all that ****, then I think SOMEONE has to step in. without a doubt honestly they should've did something after the first person died (i beleive there has been at least one death at the last 3 of these). its just a way for ICP to pad thier pockets, they dont give 2 shits about the fans. also im sure that soon there won't be JCW at the gathering or anywhere for that matter because of all the bunghole fans throwing stuff wrestlers aren't gonna want to work the shows. the first match at last years event was Jimmy Jacobs vs Ultimo Dragon and there was so much trash being thrown i couldnt beleive they would disrespect both of those guys like that, they even threw crapat Muta. |

Like I said, I can see smoking a joint at a show or something like that, but if you're shooting up in the middle of some match, then you need some serious, serious help. well im sure they arent doing herion in the middle of the match. this event is called the "Gathering of the Juggalos" GOTJ for short. its a 3 day (maybe 4) event. Every year they have this event. the last 3 or 4 years it has been outside at some camping ground. so the whole camping ground gets taken over by ICP. They have events like concerts and seminars and wrestling. I think the kid that overdosed was in his tent shooting up and when his friends got back he was dead. anyway the wrestling seems to get worse. if you ever watch the JCW slam TV videos you will see, its not really the wrestlers but the fans that suck. sometimes they get what they deserve though, last year a fan threw something at Tracy Smothers and he went ape crapand started throwing chairs and metal trash barrels at people. It was awesome!! |
