Do you think TNA should have gave the title to Monty Brown at Final Resolution 2005?
I really think they do. Monty brown was so over and TNA dropped a huge ball with him. Brown could have been a great champion for TNA and this is coming from a person that didn't even like him that much.
What are your thoughts?

Two years later it's the same deal with Samoa Joe. Only difference is, I think Joe has Monty Brown beat in the ring skill category (no offense). But other than that, I agree with you.

Definitely, I had a ing sig "not removing until Monty Brown becomes NWA Champion" for two years. July 18, 2005 was the day it started. I removed it almost two years later.

No matter what promotion you are, putting the title on the most over guy in the company is always a good idea.

Yes, of course. Either then, or around BFG 2005. He looked to be on the verge of a big title win over JJ again, but Christian came in and took it. But it was dumb for JJ to beat Monty at FR 05 and then drop the belt four months later to AJ Styles who did not need it.
Samoa Joe was sort of the same case. But I honestly believe Monty Brown could have been the most marketable guy in TNA history. He had the charisma and appeal to a mass audience like no other. Things like this make you not feel sorry for TNA in any regard.

I think the last TNA guy to have the title was Styles, #-4 years ago. I'm not including Jarret(he's still WWE)...my question is why, why not nsert Joe or Brown in there-coulda boosted this company. But nope. redemption At VR for Joe? nope, BFG Nope. the next chakpion willl be a WWE guy. This is why I wonder if mcmahon is involved, this is why TNA cant grow, they casue their own product to look inferior.

The last TNA guy to have the title was Abyss and that was over a year ago (Nov 2006). Him and AJ have been the only 2.

^There was Ron Killings if you consider him more known in TNA than in WWE. That'd be 3 guys but that's up to anyone on that one.
Yes they should have. He was perhaps bar-none the most over guy on the roster and it could have done some good having a TNA talent hold its own title. It'd be a good way to find out if the man can carry the title. That's a great example of dropping the ball.

Jarrett is more WCW than WWE. He was a main event in WCW and just a mid carder in WWF

I always liked Brown's image. But im glade they didn't give him the belt, cause i think it woul dhave been a near Goldberg title run. The guy was the biggest, body- muscle, wise in the company at the time. But still, would have been nice to see the title around a different waist. Other`than Jeff's at the time, now Angle's.
