That scramble match for the world title sounds terrible. I think it sounds interesting, but it wont help anyone in the match. If Punk loses it, and then wins it back last minute, it will it will just be like he's started all over. If there's a new champion crowned, it should be the ONLY pinfall. The shouldnt play hot potato with it. But in my opinion, i see Punk going the whole 20 minutes and retaining after almost getting beat by everyone, but barely hanging on. Its obvious Punk will try to break up any pinfalls, Kane isnt going to win with the Mysterio angle he has, Batista and JBL already had shots so if they wanted the belt on them they would already have it, and nobody wants Cena as champ. Combined with a possible Orton return, i just cant see Punk losing.

Oh, and another thing about the scramble. What if Punk gets the 1st pinfall?

Main event was amazing tonight, although I was pissed Punk lost in his hometown.

I missed Raw entirely. I went out tonight just assuming I'd set it to record for some reason, but I never had. I realized it at about 10:30.
Sounds like an alright show, Championship scramble sounds somewhat decent, at least its something fresh.

Punk should just run around the ring and break up pins/submission when they happen, lol.

Main event was amazing tonight, although I was pissed Punk lost in his hometown. I think Punk losing is fine. Its give Jericho momentum for his feud with HBK. Punk lost becuz of cade, he was in control until the interference. i like the decision. it was best for all possible feuds to stay hot

It was a decent episode of Raw tonight. I really don't like the sound of this Championship Scramble match, though. I thought we had moved on from the Hardcore title days? This just sounds like a trainwreck waiting to happen, and it seems like it will be a cheap way to get other guy's names in the record books. Now, it doesn't mean WWE has to go this route, but when the stipulation almost encourages multiple switches, I can't help but feel disappointed already. It would be great if all of the hype of the match led to 19 minutes of near falls before an exciting finish of either one title change or Punk retaining. Sadly, though, I suspect it will be almost the complete opposite.

Its not like the WHC will have the 24/7 rule. its one match. Theres no way wwe goes 20 mins and doesnt atleast have the title change hands a few times. I dont understand why some of you think multiple title changes in the match would be a bad thing? Its something fresh. I'll wait to criticize the match until its over.

It devalues the World Heavyweight Championship, and while I know title belts are meaningless in the world of fake wrestling, they shouldn't be thrown around to whomever can grab ahold of them.
I've always been a fan of old school lengthy title reigns with singles feuds, so I am slightly biased when it comes to the booking for this match. I prefer watching title matches with meaning as opposed to "let's see how many people we can throw in here and give another undeserved title shot to" type of matches.

Punk should of won tonight. He would of gotten a major superstar reaction for his victory, but of course, using WWE's logic, he can't win in his home town. Punk has been champ for a few months and only has ONE clean victory. Pathetic. He should be going over guys cleanly to build him as a major star. WWE, they can get HBK/Y2J booked so perfectly, yet up Punk. It drives me nuts. As for the scramble match. It's stupid. So the belt can change hands like 6 times in 20 mins? They should make at least an hour. Have like a 5 man ironman match. Who ever has the most pinfalls after an hour, wins. Knowing WWE, everyone in that match will have thetitle once. At least for all you Kane fans, he gets another title reign Jericho's attire this week, AWESOME!

I think I'm the only one who actually listened to what Adamle said. He said that all pinfalls during the match were not official so whoever had the final pinfall when the match ends becomes champion.

I hope its like that, but didnt the announcers say that the title could change hands multiple times? Or did they say there could be multiple pinfalls?

The person with the last pinfall wins the match and the title.

I understand what you mean, but i dont know why announcers would even mention it could change hands multiple times if they would be unofficial. Guess we'll just have to wait till next week.

Here:
The title can change hands multiple times during the span of the match. However, they are not counted a title reigns. They are only counted as pinfalls during the match. The only one that counts in whoever has the belt at the end of the match. If CM Punk retains, he is still a one-time World Heavyweight Champion, even if he lost and won the title back 10 times during the match.
