So after listening to an audio interview with Eric Cargula from Between the Ropes who has done work for almost every major Indy promotion and then listening to another audio interview with Chris Croose from WCW fame, I have determined that Mike Tenay needs to learn to do color better.
He cannot sell. He screams excitement for every match instead of realizing that the opening match is not as important, or shouldn't be, as the main event. Don West on the other hand is supposed to try to make every move seem devastating as he is the play by play guy. Tenay should be but he has always wanted to be the color man and he truly is not that great at it.

Though he should... make Borash the face pbp and Robert Roode the heel color guy (for some reason I think he'd be great at it.) TNA won't break out of the 1.0's with Tenay and West commentating... they're nerdy, obnoxious, and explain every little thing to death.

They're both terrible, and a deterrent from watching the TNA program.

Tenay could be a great play by play guy as he knows more moves than most. I don't see why he doesn't see he's just not good at the color.

they need a 3rd commentator such as B.G. James, Konnan or Raven... definatley Raven or...ED FERRARA! But I've said this same thing many times. TNA's commentary team is terrible. Tenay needs to be the guy in the back feeding play by play and some color to a better team. He knows A LOT about wrestling, he's just really annoying to listen to. West can stay in TNA and sell shit, I don't care. It's the job the world chose for him, not commentating.

I'm not sure if you meant Kris Kloss of WSX, but i thought he was good and shoulda been picked up. Never heard Gargulo but funny I had him in my fed as a commetator. Tenay and West just bring the show down...it's like they say every flippin thing that goes on..." Oh here comes sting down the ramp, left foot, right foot." Oh mike did you just see Sting blink! Dear GAWD this is just....gasp...gasp...awful...gasp!
