As some of you have probably already seen, I have taken up painting hockey masks. Here is my thread for that in case you missed it...

It's something I enjoy thoroughly. Anyway, I never really had a way to display my work...and I wanted a final piece in my upcoming Jason Halloween costume. I got hooked up with Darren Lake of Ruste Dowg productions and they offered an amazing piece that would accompany my work VERY well. It's a handsculpted, hand painted Jason undermask/hood.
I just got this in. It took them 6 weeks to make it. But it was definitely worth the wait. This is a pro made Friday the 13th Jason undermask. It's one of the most disgusting...yet one of the most amazing pieces I have ever gotten my hands on. It fits perfectly and it displays perfectly once you stuff it. It feels extremely durable and there's not even a slit in the back of the neck. It's very durable latex so there's no worries about ripping it when you put it on. I may posts some pics later of me wearing it for those who want an idea of that. But for now...here are pics of it stuffed and displayed.
EDIT: Here is the interview I conducted and just finished publishing with one of the guys responsible for this piece.

On a stand with my Jason figures
I was thrilled when I put one of the masks that I painted on this thing. My chosen mixture of colors to get the blood on my mask matched up to his chosen mixture perfectly!
NASTY!
Here it is without my mask on it. It is stuff with some old black T shirts. I love the fact that it doesn't have a face. It makes wearing the hockey mask on it much more comfortable and it doesn't feel like you are wearing two masks. Much easier to hear and breathe.

Today I decided to take on a mini project. I went to Wal Mart and found a cheap shirt very similar to the actual shirt worn on film. The only kicker was the buttons were the wrong color and it was short sleeved. I already have my shirt for the mask when I actually wear it. But I wanted to get another shirt to alter to make this look more like a bust as suggested by some members here. So this one worked out perfectly. I altered it into something I could put onto the mask for display purposes. I also mixed up some paint and painted the buttons. Very happy with the end result.
