For the first time in years, Corporal Robinson will take on the unorthodox and unpredictable Delirious in a one-on-one match. Only this time, the stakes are much higher.
Corporal Robinson is the reigning ElitePro Heavyweight Champion, while Delirious is a worldwide independent wrestling star and the current head trainer at the Ring of Honor Wrestling School.
This match has already been signed to be the main event of the evening and will be contested under "Juggalo Rules", meaning anything goes. The ElitePro Championship Rules will also be in affect and should Corp lose the first fall, the match becomes 2-out-of-3 falls.
This time, it's for real. Sal Thomaselli has gotten medical clearance to wrestle at Haze of Insanity and the ElitePro officials were quick to sign the first one-on-one meeting of the former Iron Saints in over 4 years. For the first time since a tournament in California, Sal will go toe-to-toe with his older brother, Vito.
In March, Vito turned his back on Sal to join forces with Ash & Kris Chambers to form Sex, Drugs & Wrestling. Since that time Sal has played mind games with Vito. Sal surprised his brother by donning The Ring Rydas' gear and attacking his brother costing him a chance to become IWA MidSouth World Light Heavyweight Champion at Return of a Saint.
What will happen when these two finally come face-to-face?
Haze of Insanity will see the first-ever mixed tag match in the promotion's history. Former ElitePro Heavyweight Champion Dysfunction will team with his manager, the president of Kash Inc., Kimberly Kash, to take on a pair of IWA MidSouth champions in Light Heavyweight Champion Jason Hades and the debuting IWA MidSouth Women's Champion, Daizee Haze.
After Team W.A.R. defeated Team Taliban to once again successfully defend the ElitePro Tag Team Titles, their celebration was short-lived. The newly formed duo of Jay Jensen & Mike Elgin came to the ring and challenged the champions, even questioning their manhood. Jensen & Elgin pointed out that Team W.A.R. has yet to deal with a tag team with members the size of themselves.
Team W.A.R. did not hesitate to accept the challenge and the two biggest teams in ElitePro with lock horns for the coveted ElitePro Tag Team Titles.
After taking a vicious beating at the hands of ElitePro Heavyweight Champion Corporal Robinson at the 2nd Anniversary, Martin Jones was asked by ElitePro officials if he wanted to give up his pursuit of making the roster. He emphatically declined.
So, the Trial Series continues, this time with one of the hardest-hitting wrestlers in all of independent wrestling and the current ElitePro World TV Champion, Brandon Thomaselli.
Thomaselli is known as "The Impact Bully" for the way he viciously dishes out forearms. On two seperate occasions, his opponents have left with a broken jaw after attempting to exchange with him.
Martin hasn't backed down from anyone, but this time, at what expense might that be?
