Didn't WWE also want to bring in Kobashi? I'd crapmy pants if they signed them both. WWE needs a stronger Japanese influence outside of Funaki and Jimmy Wang Yang.

Keep dreaming about him being signed. He's the champion of the #1 company in Japan, and I don't think he's in a hurry to go to WWE.
WWE has been interested in Morishima for a couple years, and he was in the area for Harley Race, and he got him booked while he was there. Just like with Bryan Danielson. WWE has interest, and putting them in dark matches is a display of that, but they are occupied elsewhere.

God, I'm really happy to see Morishima in a dark match, even it was five minutes. However, if he gets signed by WWE, I don't know what I'd do. I'd be happy for him because he would be in the top promotion in the world, but I'd be mad because WWE would probably ruin his gimmick and if he stayed in Japan, he could have a great career, and maybe find himself becoming IWGP champ in the future. But, either way, I'll be happy. BTW, what happened with the Kenta Kobashi contract rumor?
PS: I bet half of the people here have never even seen Morishima wrestle, and they judge him by his appearance.

If you read it again, I said in the FUTURE. Who knows what is going to happen with him, he could be out of NOAH within the next year, no one knows. He just has a big career ahead in Japan, but if he goes to WWE, and they ruin his gimmick, he could lose all credibility.

He's already World Champion for the #1 company in Japan. What more can he do?

He's already World Champion for the #1 company in Japan. What more can he do? In wrestling, there is really no limits on what one can do. Take Ric Flair as an example, he won the NWA Championship many times, but that didn't stop him from winning other titles like the WWF, WCW, and IC. Really, the possibilities are endless, especially for Morishima.

In Japan they have much different philosophies on what wrestling is and should be. That example is wrong.

In Japan they have much different philosophies on what wrestling is and should be. That example is wrong. Fine, now take Keijin Mutoh as an example. He has won titles from NJPW, AJPW, WCW, and some others, and he is still winning titles right now, he is even the current IWGP champ. Possibilities are just endless.

Muto is an older wrestler and had different ideas then. The younger generation now is more geared toward loyalty.
