I've been hearing that people are quite upset with Daivari's current gimmick.. but on a plus side, I thought him pulling a spike out of his boot to attack Jay Lethal was awesome.
Your thoughts?

I could care less about him. I didn't like him as Daivari, I don't like him now.

I like it , I think they just took hassans old gimmick an gave it to Bashir which is pretty cool i suppose

I'll always know him as Daivari, and I think he does this gimmick very well.
The Sheik's spike is just an added bonus

He plays his gimmick perfectly. He has great charisma and he is decent in the ring. I wish he was just a bigger person, like Hassan size, because I would be able to take him more seriously and would enjoy to see him as a main event heel.

I think he's awesome, it's great to see Daivari back on TV again, it's just Hassan's role on WWE TV which he's now doing in TNA, I was always a fan of it.

I don't mind his new gimmick, but the name will always be odd to me because I know him better as Daivari.

In my opinion, his gimmick is awesome. It works great with all the Iran/Nuclear things on the news. Also, the WMD is a great name, I just wish it wasn't a DDT. BTW, it was pretty cool when he pulled the spike out of his book, too bad it was unrealistic.

I wish they had somehow gotten Hassan for this role. I just can't take Daivari seriously at the moment, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. He doesn't provide anything, but yet he's already beatig established TNA guys.

To be fair.... Hassan needed Davari to pull the job off. Davari's everything in one package.

Bashir is more the typical foreigner who attacks American morality... not quite the same. In terms of mic skills and character, Bashir has nothing on Hassan. |
