Amy Dumas and the Genext camera crew caught up with Billy Kidman shortly after the Four Play announcement was made. Rumors proved to be true amidst the controversy that Billy Kidman has indeed left the company
Amy: Billy, Billy! Can i have a word with you?
Amy: Is it true that you've quit the company?
Kidman: I didnt quit the company! The company quit on me! And as a result, I'm officially retiring from wrestling!
Kidman: I've given my blood, sweat, and tears to this business for over half my life! And what has it gotten me? The same old glass ceiling politics that always keep the good talent down!
Kidman: Well, Ya know what? I'm too damn old for this s**t and I'm not gonna subject myself to it any longer.
But, I do wanna thank all the people that voted for me an knew that I deserved a title shot just as much as anyone else that was chosen.
Amy: Is there any truth to the rumor that TM PRIDE may have manipulated the voting?
Kidman: Ya know what Amy. At this point, I dont even care anymore. I've had the opportunity to do what i love to do, and that's wrestle, and that's the one positive that I'm gonna take with me and hold onto. Whatever happend, that's AWF's problem now.
Kidman: Take Care.
Amy: Well, fans, a sad day indeed in AWF, as a true legend retires from the ring.
