Pwinsider.com has confirmed that Gail Kim is indeed through with TNA. No details yet regarding this sudden news, but they should be coming out soon.
Kim's profile and photos were quietly removed from the company website earlier today. Regarding the speculation on the removal of her stuff from the website, one TNA source said, "It means exactly what you think it means."
Kim had been with the company for nearly three years - since September 2005. Kim was originally brought in as a pesky heel valet for Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted. When the Knockouts division was created, Kim was pegged as the star babyface. Kim became the first ever TNA Women's Knockout Champion and had a good feud with Awesome Kong. Kim lost the belt on an episode of Impact in January and the focus of the division shifted to some of the other girls. As of late she was a top face in the company, but no longer the top face, sharing the spotlight with Taylor Wilde and ODB.

Gail = Wwe?  ? They already released her once. They've released quite a few people that they've rehired later. Look at Ron Killings, I still don't get why he was resigned, but then again I don't work for WWE. I think Gail's gotten better since WWE and could go back and do well. |

I'm not sad at all for TNA. To me this is a late birthday gift from Jesus!  It looks like I will finally get to see Gail in WWE again! I don't think she would not come back, I mean she would be great in the wwe. Wouldn't the wwe want her back? She's an awesome wrestler. |

I'll take it with a grain of salt for now until more information comes out. If true, I'm not sure why she'd leave. Unless her contract was up (which it could be soon) and there was a money difference between the sides. Gail has been getting the shaft somewhat as of late anyway. Kong, Wilde, and TBP are all featured over her as is. So it's not a huge loss in my opinion. Hopefully she goes back to the WWE if she really did actually leave.

I think WWE made a play for her if she is leaving TNA. They are really lacking big names as far as female talent goes. Mickie James is pretty much the only thing they have going for them. Beth Phoenix and Katie Lea can wrestle, but have pretty much no personality or marketablity to back it up. A Gail Kim is exactly what they need.
Oh shit, you know what I just thought of? If Gail leaves TNA we won't be getting a JAKKS figure of her in 2010! Rrrrrrrrg!

No one has any real information on this. The only thing we know is that her bio was removed from the TNA roster and Knockout page. With the way TNA is booking right now this could be a complete work. Especially with this whole Gail's sister at ringside angle going on. Plus she is in a street fight with Kong tonight. We will see what happens.
If she is gone, oh well. That is how things go sometimes. There are plenty of other Knockouts who are just as or more over than Gail at this point and time. The Knockouts Division won't die without her. I was personally getting sick of her anyway. If anyone is upset enough to stop watching TNA over this you were not a TNA fan to begin with. Now if A.J. Styles left it would be a different story.

We can now confirm that Gail Kim is jumping ship and heading back to World Wrestling Entertainment. They are reporting that she was offered a very sizeable offer and has taken them up on the deal.
Kim's contract is up about to run up and she will be free to start working for WWE once it expires. The decision for her to leave TNA for WWE was completely financial as she had been happy in TNA. The deal she was offered was a big one and hard to pass up.
Kim left TNA on extremely good terms and the door is always open for a return. Gail will appear on iMPACT! tonight in a street fight with Awesome Kong.

Gail Kim has left TNA. She apparently had contract issues that didn't get resolved. Her bio has been removed from the TNA website. ProWrestling.net reports that Kim asked for guarantees in her contract negotiations that TNA couldn't provide, and that there may have been conflicts regardiing personal appearances and a separate agency she was working with.

Not a reputable source at all. It's also been reported at prowrestling.net The dotnet sotry says nothing about her going back to WWE. She left TNA because of contract issues. |
