According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWC in Puerto Rico recently contacted TNA and AAA star Judas Mesias (Ricky Banderas) about coming to the island for bookings, but he demanded a cool $10,000 bonus to jump (he has previously wrestled for rival IWA) and $2,000 per match, which of course, was way out of WWC's league.

Lance Storm has posted a new commentary on his official StormWrestling.com web site. In it, Storm talks about WWE RAW in High Definition as well as the silliness on TNA iMPACT!. He also praises TNA’s Global Impact special.
We noted earlier here on TNAWrestlingNews.com that Bobby Lashley is leaving World Wrestling Entertainment. At this point, Lashley needs to negotiate an official release from WWE as he is still under contract. He is still listed on the official WWE website and is awaiting his release so he can move on. He'll also have a 90 day no compete clause so it'll be awhile before/if he debuts in TNA.

TNAWrestlingNews.com is now able to confirm that Bobby Lashley is gone from World Wrestling Entertainment.
In a phone call placed to WrestlingNewsWorld.com's Ryan Gray, Lashley said that he is gone from the company. While he would not give any specifics he made it clear that he did not want to leave but had too due to circumstances beyond his control.
Lashley told Mr. Ryan Gray that he was training hard for a potential career in Mixed Martial Arts. The former ECW Champion said that despite the fact that he wanted to pursue an MMA career, it would not be with UFC.
Lashley would not comment on whether or not he would be interested in going to TNA Wrestling. He said that WWE has granted his release but it would not be announced until the paperwork was finalized.
Stay tuned to TNAWrestlingNews.com for more on Lashley's possible debut in TNA. It's WAY to early to speculate at this point in time but it's VERY possible we'll see him there in about 90 days.

TNA Wrestling conducted their first round drug testing last night at the iMPACT! tapings in Orlando. Testing was originally supposed to start Monday, but TNA President Dixie Carter was unable to attend Monday's tapings and wanted to be there in person for the first tests.
Dixie was there last night and she volunterred herself as the first TNA employee to be tested. The drug testing is said to be totally legit, with medical staff brought in to administer everything. Urine will be sent to a third party testing facility.
Wrestlers had 2 weeks notice before testing began. Much like when WWE started testing, the first round of tests are to establish a "baseline evaluation" to see who has what in their systems. As long as any traces of banned substances decrease in future tests, they will be fine. There is sitll no word on what the punishment will be for violating the drug policy.
