Sesame Street always bored me as a kid. I stuck with the Muppets and eventually the Muppet Babies.

To be fair Sesame Street was a LOT different when I was a kid. Mr. Snuffleupagus was still believed to be a figment of Big Bird's imagination. Mr. Hooper was still a live for a time. Elmo was JUST A MONSTER and really not that annoying. Cookie Monster ate cookies. Bert and Ernie were not accused of homosexuality.
It was a simpler, better time. I'm not sure I would show my future children the current product of Sesame Street.
Oh and when I was a kid there was also a thing called Fraggle Rock which also ruled.

Both are great...
Anything Jim Henson touched was gold.

Muppets! They had explosions, cannibalism, constant violence, and were still funny!
