Ive been wondering why south park has never been cancelled but Family Guy has been cancelled twice.
I mean South Park said n''''' openly several times in an episode
They said crap162 times in 1 ep
They made fun of every celeb under the sun
Theyve made fun of a religion
Theyve made fun of other shows
Yet theyve never been cancelled
I cant remember why family guy was cancelled but ino it was for less worse reasons than ive just stated

Probably because of its ratings. Bingo bango. Fox kept shifting Family Guy around, leading to lower ratings, leading to cancellation. But DVD Sales + Reruns = Comeback. |

Even if Family Guy was cancelled due to content, which is not the case, it would be because Family Guy is on a major network and South Park is on cable. Have you ever seen a rerun of South Park on a major network? They edit them like crazy.

Barely anything ever gets canceled on cable. BRAVO has some of the worst shows on tv, and they all get renewed every year.

South Park is on Comedy Central so they can get away with anything. They've been bringing in solid ratings for over a decade, too.
