Did some of you here what Tenay said? His character is based off a tv show in Japan...It has nothing to do with WWE, imagine that.

Up close to the camera, Curry man scares the ever loving hell out of me. I had never seen him before, then Bam! I see this crazy guy dance and jiggle out to the ring with food on his head, and I had no idea that was danials.

Next to Shark Boy; this Curry man gimmick is the dumbest and most idiotic thing I've ever seen in wrestling history. A masked wrestler with a plate of Curry on his head?!?!?! What idiot thought of this, and what is the significance of the plate of curry on his head? Christopher Daniels; BRING BACK THE FALLEN ANGEL and dump this stupid CURRY MAN GIMMICK!!!! If I'm not mistaken, Curry Man is way over in Japan. I don't see it getting over with the average American wrestling fan. Mostly because they won't get it, but I'm sure there are many of them who don't even know what curry is. |

TNA is ruining the Curry Man character by trying to fool everyone into thinking it's not Daniels by having him wear a wig under the mask and completely different ring gear than Curry Man is supposed to wear. also they went out of their way to make sure Daniels hit none of his regular moves and Tenay (who after this and that global Impact shows has no knowledge whatsoever of anything puroresu) misnames the Spicy Drop the spicy rack. they wont let him hit the B.M.E. which he does as Curry Man, they wouldnt let him hit the side slam and they made him dance way too much, yes he dances, but not as much during the matches as he did in that horrendous match. i love TNA, but they are botching this. bring him back as Daniels and that's that, or let him do Curry Man the right way and stop trying to make it TNA Curry Man.
back to the Tenay thing, if TNA is going to continue to bring in international talent, they should at least brief their main announcer, or he should do some research. he sounds like a moron when he misnames moves and states stuff that never happened. keep Don West, but Tenay has to go. he was good for awhile, but he is really slipping now.

Tenay has no Puro knowledge? Are you that big of an idiot? Or did you just not watch WCW when he was on commentary and could tell you the name of EVERY MOVE that happened, where it came from, and what wrestler invented it? I think after you saying they always call TM IV 'Tiger Mask IV', despite that relatively never being the case, and then this stuff, I think you're the one who has no Puro knowledge and needs to do some research, good sir. |
