Blading is stupid but as long as it doesnt happen all the time I mean I guess I dont care.
And no blood is not a must have to show how "real" something may or may not be. Unless you are playing with barbwire i should not see blood just come gushing out of your skull. Honestly what would you expect to get if you got it in the head with a chair? Blood or a knot. Clearly would rarely be blood.
Thats the reason I hate the use of blood in wrestling because its rarely used realistically.

Too much blood is bad, but no blood is worse. I think I summed it up. Shawn Michaels disagrees. Dude always bleeds.

I have always believed blading is absolutely barbaric and there is no need for it. Not sure how others feel but I would not want to handle a wrestler who is bleeding all over the place, who knows what diseases he has, what about matches where both wrestlers bleed, isn't that a bit dangerous?

Like the Undertaker / Orton HiaC. Orton's dad has hepatitis yet he bled on both Taker and Orton...

Blading should be use when it adds to the drama and the match... Not just because you can..... (CZW)Exactly. Like in the GAB Jericho/HBK match. It defenatly added a great amount to the match. But it shouldn't be used in every single damn match. (IWA-MS)

Damien Demento...Was always a favorite jobber of mine. Totally disagree on this matter. WWE really hasnt had serious injuries from blading. I've seen violent awful videos of other feds blading but that wont change even if WWE stops blading. WWE would be extremely cheesy if they used fake blood.

Obviously, it shouldn't be done all the time...
But it is not the biggest problem in wrestling, or even close.
It should be done to make feuds and matches more important... Which means it should be fairly rare.
If something is done all the time, then it no longer matters.

Just reading this article on PWmania: "Former WWE star Damian Demento has resurfaced online. He has a page on MySpace, which you can access at www.myspace.com/dementedbydesign. As of late he's been on a crusade to stop blading in professional wrestling. He wrote a blog saying he was going to hand out a flier at tonight's WWE show at Madison Square Garden in hope of bringing attention to the matter. Demento wrote: "This sick practice has to stop. It can no longer be ignored. When wrestling promoters and writers tell the public that these injuries came the "hard way" (unintentional), they're lying! Most are blade jobs. They're just trying to maintain an old industry secret. This has to stop being performed in front of children! It has to stop it now!" I just wanted to hear different opinions about this, do you think blading should stop or carry on, not just WWE other feds as well? Wouldn't admitting there's a "hard way" kinda let on that there's also an "easy way" It seems more like clarification than a cover-up. This guy needs to get a life.

Speaking of bleeding. Anyone notice Kurt Angle bleeding every time he's in action on Impact? I swear, of the last 5 impacts he's been busted open one way or another on 3 of them.
Of course, that's neither a comment toward blading or hard-way bleeding... it's just odd timing with WWE cutting back Angle has seemingly implored it into his matches.

I don't see the need for blading... Does a match really have to be a gorefest to be entertaining? It really doesn't but I could see rare occasions where someone blading would be for purposes of the match. Hasn't anyone bladed in a while? I think Shawn's at Great American Bash was hard way. I was actually suprised that Edge or Taker didn't during Summerslam. I don't really like seeing people blade since it can lead to too much blood loss, like how Michaels or Flair would blade, or Vince at WMXIX.

in certain situations yes.
the "hardcore card"at ONS was hurt by no Blood.I quit,Last Mna standing, stretcher matches and no blood?and JBLs mouth bleeding in a frist blood match?get a grip Vince
Taker/Edge at SS was hurt by no blood.it was the first PPV HIAC I believe to have no blood.
if theres no blood in HBK vs Jericho it will also detract from the drama

keep it coming, just don't go crazy with it so your forehead looks like New Jacks at the end of the day.
On another note the only blood ive seen in the WWE in the past few months was Punk's broken nose and accidental split open head and Beth's busted open nose.

I don't see the need for blading... Does a match really have to be a gorefest to be entertaining? It depends on the match or fued. Sometimes blood just takes it up to that next level. Like HIAC for example..they boast about it being so brutal and career-ending...blood just makes it that much more realistic. Just like it one guy bashes another guy in the head 5 or 6 times...realistically that poor sucker would be a bloody mess.
