Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but its sinking And racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in the relative way, but youre older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the english way The time is gone, the song is over, thought Id something more to say
Home, home again I like to be here when I can And when I come home cold and tired Its good to warm my bones beside the fire Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells.

I've found it's been going fast since last year.

Um, what? Are you guys nuts? Time moves at a constant linear pace, and goes neither faster nor slower, it always moves at the same pace. 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week, 52 weeks in a year. I have a theory regarding all this. Age we age, time 'seems' to go by faster. Yes time is linear and always constant, neither faster or slower, but our awareness of time increases as we age and thus the seemingly faster of passing time. JS That sounds about right Jack! Time is going way to fast in my world. I wish I could slow it down

JS I agree but I believe that time travel is possible too ;[ Here's my thoughts on that... "Time travel" is only possible to go ahead, but then again it's really just the speeding of time to oneself. Einsteins theory. IF time travel to the past is actually plausible we would never know it. Only the person going back would know until the change was actually made. The idea is that say I went back to when one of you ate breakfast and somehow stopped you from eating it. Well you never ate it. You did in your alternate past but not the 'new' past which would mean you never ate it in the first place so you or anyone else would never remember something that did not happen. Maybe past time travel happened 100 times already and there were 100 changes? No one would ever know. JS

Wouldnt the person who went back know that he went back?

This year has been really fast. It seems like yesterday that I got out of college and now I am back in it.

Time goes slow. Each day has 24 hours and that is a long time.
I am just glad I get to spend one of those hours with "The View"
