TNAWrestlingNews.com can now report EXCLUSIVELY that Raven hasn't been released from TNA just yet but his contract either expired already or will be expiring soon and they aren't renewing it.
This is a mutual agreement between both sides.
Nonetheless, Raven and TNA are parting ways.

Raven is completely out of his prime and is in terrible shape anyways. Probably better off retiring, or hanging up the boots for a bit... until he's in better shape and condition. Then make a return to wrestling.

It's sad, one of my all time favorites who 3 years ago was on top as Champion is now overweight and could barley move. I am going to miss Raven. Atleast I could still enjoy his awesome TNA DVD The best of Raven Nevermore.

Raven is in terrible shape but even so now that he is out of TNA I'd like to see him make a few appearances with the AOTF in ROH.

Raven should be writing for WWE. The man has an incredible mind.Watch any of his shoots and he will impress you.

During his title run I was impressed he seemed to have regained his form but since then weight & injuries have reduced him to a shell of who he was. However with that mind plus his name value I'd imagine ECW would want to snap him up, however wWE seems to be moving away from the old ECW names so that might not be a cert, especially with all the rumoured bad heat between Vince & Raven

. I love Raven. Since Russo came in, he had been horribly misused. Raven between 2003-2005 was great.

Why's it Russo's fault? I'm sorry but I would rather see Shark Boy doing Stone Cold than an out of shape Raven..

Damn, that's really too bad. I'm such a huge Raven fan. If anything they should've just keep him and used him as a manager or something.

I loved his early run in TNA, good stuff. Hopefully he makes a few more shoot interviews, and a few more ROH appearances, makes some indy money, and takes some time off. Maybe then go into WWE Creative.
