TNT’s Final Championship Gauntlet Challenge:
SoCal Crazy and Tommy Wilson vs. “Radiant” Jason Redondo with TNT and “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce with C. Edward Vander Pyle (representing The Elite)
·The Championship Gauntlet Challenge issued by TNT will come to an end as TNT has put together Jason Redondo, the current SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion and Adam Pearce, the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion to team up against SoCal Crazy and his tag team partner, Tommy Wilson. Back in the month of June at SoCal Pro’s “Lucky Number 13” show, SoCal Crazy had to go through a mystery opponent that was handpicked by TNT in order to earn an opportunity to become the number one contender for the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Championship. What SoCal Crazy did not know was he had to win every single match in The Championship Gauntlet Challenge until TNT felt that SoCal Crazy became worthy enough to be a challenger for The Radiant One.
·“Super Clash” is not going to be an easy task for SoCal Crazy since he has to worry about Redondo and Pearce as well as his opponents’ respective managers being at ringside. Luckily, SoCal Crazy will have help in the form of Tommy Wilson to ensure that The Elite do not try to pull any shenanigans like they did in the past SoCal Pro shows. Tommy Wilson has a score to settle with The Elite since he was attacked after his 2-out-of-3 Falls Match with Adam Pearce and ended up getting pieces of his hair cut by Vander Pyle. There will truly be a “Super Clash” in Oceanside as SoCal Crazy tries to finally earn his SoCal Pro Heavyweight Title shot against Jason Redondo and Tommy Wilson tries to gain retribution for being humiliated at the hands of The Elite.
Chimaera vs. Rock 'N' Roll Rebel Soul" Johnny Yuma
"Super Clash '08" will mark the debut of Southern California rookie sensation Johnny Yuma to SoCal Pro and his first opponent will be none other than Chimaera. Last month, Chimaera showed the fans and wrestlers that he only cares about one person and that is himself since he refused to shake LTP's hand after their hard-fought battle lead to a time limit draw. Chimaera has plans to beat some respect into his opponent and if Yuma even thinks about pulling an upset on Chimaera, then Yuma and the SoCal Pro fans should be aware of seeing more aggression unleashed by Chimaera in Oceanside.
Will Johnny Yuma's SoCal Pro debut see him rock and roll over the luchador known as Chimaera? Can SoCal Fans expect to witness another wrestler fall victim to the hands of Chimaera's Rage? These questions will be answered as Chimaera will clash with The Rock 'N' Roll Rebel Soul for the first time in SoCal Pro.
Johnny Goodtime vs. “The Professional” Scott Lost (representing The Elite)
·Last month at SoCal Pro’s “Untitled” show, Johnny Goodtime was seconds away from defeating “Radiant” Jason Redondo to become the new SoCal Pro Heavyweight Champion, but Scott Lost destroyed Goodtime’s reality of ever winning gold in SoCal Pro. The fans in Oceanside have not seen Scott Lost since last year at SoCal Pro’s “The Debut Event” when he forced Ricky Mandel to submit in the center of the ring. Earlier in the evening of the “Untitled” show, Lost was hired by TNT to possibly be the wrestler to finish SoCal Crazy in The Championship Gauntlet Challenge Match, but Lost and TNT’s plot against SoCal Crazy proved to backfire in the end with Lost not leaving Oceanside as the victor.
·However, Lost returned by the end of the night to reveal that he had more than one agenda on his list as he had aligned with “Radiant” Jason Redondo, “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, TNT, and C. Edward Vander Pyle to complete the faction called The Elite. Due to Lost’s actions in the main event between Redondo and Goodtime for the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Title, Scott Lost will find himself clashing with Johnny Goodtime on September 13, 2008. This match will be personal between the two wrestlers since Goodtime wants revenge for Lost costing him the title, while Lost plans to keep Goodtime from climbing back on rung towards another SoCal Pro title shot.
Locura vs. “Petty Officer” Ryan Stone
·At the “Night Under The Stars” show in July, SoCal Pro fans saw the return of Ryan Stone of Anchors Away as he was revealed as the second henchman that TNT had hired to possibly put away SoCal Crazy once and for all. Ryan Stone had hoped to make short work of his opponent and thus end SoCal Crazy’s chances of earning a future opportunity at the SoCal Pro Heavyweight Championship but SoCal Crazy’s agility proved to be too much for Stone to handle. Due to Ryan Stone being unable to successfully complete his task, he has set his attention on another luchador by the name of Locura. On March 22, 2008, Locura made his SoCal Pro debut in a tag team match with his partner, Huracan Negro to battle the tandem of Chimaera and Conde Jr. Even though Locura and Huracan Negro were not victorious in their tag team match, they were given respect by the SoCal Pro fans for their efforts in making a name for themselves.
·Commissioner Durwood Murray remembered Locura’s match and he decided to bring Locura back to face Ryan Stone one-on-one at the Oceanside Boys and Girls Club. Ryan Stone is anticipating his match against Locura since Stone wants to pick up his first victory in SoCal Pro. Stone stated that Locura has something in common with SoCal Crazy since Locura and SoCal Crazy both wear masks and they are also thorns to his side. Unlike his battle with SoCal Crazy, Stone is determined to be victorious in his match and he is going as far as to dedicate the match to his Anchors Away tag team partner, David E. Jones. Find out at “Super Clash ‘08” if Ryan Stone will be able to defeat the returning luchador from the Happy Minds Mental Hospital.
