It takes a lot more talent to be able to paint it. No doubt. But there's like 5 customizers who post here who could paint small logos that well. If two customs look identical, i would give the hand painter the edge. But that doesn't mean the people who can't paint that well should be so derisively dismissed. I would rather see customs that look good rather than "real" customs that don't look as nice. It's not that big of a deal, and I got sick of arguing about it, but its ridiculous and rude to dismiss people's hard work on some goofy technicality. I feel bad that we kinda hijacked this guy's thread, especially since its one of the best customs I've seen on here in a while, but there's a handful of people that think dissing decals is the most constructive and insightful criticism they can offer. [back on topic] Dude, your Steiner is great. Most of us can see both your effort and skill.

thanks again all! Maybe someday I'll think of selling him but I like him in my own collection for now. on the subject of decals I agree it takes a lot of talent to paint small and crisp. It I actually prefer decal over paint too. Many of my customs are painted but I always like the decals more.
also I cimpletly design my decals from scratch and refrence such takes a lot of graphic design knowlege including the ability to design typography which is crazy hard.
If anyone wants my designs for their fogs pm me and they're yours!

I don't get people that lose it over decals. Personally I would much sooner buy a custom with decals that look exactly like a real release over one that is hand painted and looks very obviously so. It's not like the good people at Jakks hand paint all the logos.

Haha. I know I come off as a smartass a lot...
but I honestly meant nice decals. I know that mr. ferraro makes his own decals.
WHAT PISSES ME OFF IS WHEN I SEE THREADS DEDICATED TO PEOPLE asking "Does anyone have a decal for (insert wrestlers name).. Nice way to take credit for someone elses hard work... =)
But I really love mr. ferraros work. I love the dullcoat for some reason it just looks much better than jakks shiny figures that you people go ape-s*** over.
nice work ray

Awesome stuff!! I like the figure sealed with the Dull coat, looks absolutely gorgeous. Would look way better with his chest tat but overall, this is marvellous

Nice decals. Doesn't he have a tattoo on his chest? He couldnt find a decal for the chest tat. Two posters that love to slate decals, one with a lump of clay painted up to look vaguely like the joker in his avatar and the other that ruins countless figures every week with thick layers of bright pink "custom skintone". Sandman and nydream are two of the worst customisers on here and they feel it necessary to cuss people's customs whenever a decal is used. If you don't want your customs to look like factory made/Jakks figures then decals aren't necessary but no one can get the same effect with hand painted designs. It's actually alot harder to make and apply decals well than to make a Joker from clay or paint a figure pink so the constant anti-decal spam from those two is probably just fuelled by jealousy. That Steiner looks awesome, the decals look superb. The matt finish does give it a more professional look but I quite like the shiny plastic Jakks uses anyway. The head looks to be painted extremely well, I couldn't tell the skintone was painted. Going by that photo it would be good if the chest tattoo was there but if the photo wasn't there I wouldnt've known whether this attire was from before or after he got the tat. EDIT: I hadn't read the rest of the posts before I replied but it seems that I'm not the only one who thinks good decals shouldn't be criticised with mindless spam, especially by talentless people who think they are much better customisers than they really are.

That looks simply amazing. I'd have left the tattoo off his chest as well.

I love this steiner. Paint job is clean and smooth. Logos are done perfectly with the decals. Works great for his late late WWE look. Great job. Great job on the head repaint as well, Jakks botched his head paint job badly.

This is a really good custom. Painting is incredibly smooth looking and the decals actually look like painted logos. His missing chest tattoo should be added if you can find a decal of it. Other than that, I don't see any problems.

haha... Good job plasticsuperstar. Once again you proved why you are a tool. Next time read all the posts, buddy. I did read all the posts and it proved again why YOU are a tool (it was me who said I hadn't read them first so what's your point anyway? I could've easily deleted my post if it didn't still apply). You "admitted" to being a "smartass" but really you are just being an arse. Being a smartass implies that your sarcasm was in some way witty and backed up with some truth, but you are wrong and you were being a knob because some people make better customs than you. Just grow up you little turd.
