Hey guys here is my latest DA custom Steiner! ALL of my figures, fix ups and customs are sealed with Testors Dullcoat to take away the unrealistic and cheap shiny plastic gloss of the figures. For this one I used the RA Steiner head, glasses from the RA Batista with pink shirt, and the body is from the classic deluxe Iron Shiek with feet swapped out from some left over DA figure I had. I repainted the head entirely to be more accurate... lighter eyebrows and hair as well as less orange colored skin.     Thanks for looking! |

it looks really good man. i actually like the fact that you used decals. i would rather have an awesome looking custom with decals opposed to a crappy looking custom without (i am not saying all customs without decals are crappy. dont take that statement the wrong way)
i think it looks nice. i like the way you used sealer to remove the shine from the figure. that was a very good idea. it gives your figures a cleaner, smoother, and as you stated more realistic look. great job on this man. really good work =)

I really hate the attitude of some people on this board who think that if you use decals you're not a real customizer. That is sh*t, pure and simple. Look at his custom; Very smooth paint, neatly done, great attire choice, and it looks FACTORY MADE because of the neatly trimmed decals. I've seen some of the best customizers on this board not able to paint logos that look that good. So what does it matter to you? Rayferraro: This is an excellent piece of work. Everything looks smooth and neat. Though its simple, its easily one of the cleanest and most effective customs posted lately. Solid 10/10. Great work. |

hey guys. Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm glad you like! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I usually use decals when I can especially for type and it always turns out better. The omiting of the chest tattoo was a personal choice and not because I didn't want to draw one on. Even though the pic has one. I was going for his late wee look. Keep in mind regarding decals... I never find them online I always spend hours designing them on adobe illustrator to make sure the quality is good. I'm a graphic designer by profession actually  |

Decals or not the figure looks great. I myself would have chosen to skip the chest tattoo....I hate that tattoo.

It takes a lot more talent to be able to paint it. it certainly does, but in the majority of cases, it wont look anywhere near as clean and crisp as this decal...i personally prefer decals, as it makes the custom look more legit...like it came from the factory... ----- amazin custom dude...seriously looks like it came straight out of a package... i'd also like to see any of your other customs youve made... |

Sandy may feel that way about them I just thought Id throw that in as a joke. But I have no problem with people using them at all. I might even consider using them if i knew how, lol |
