I see this thing going for for maybe another month then someone will beat him for the belt, and if he does make it to 64 weeks he will be the most hated person by the IWC for not dropping the belt.

I love this mini-angle for Santino. If he out runs Honky Tonk Man's title reign, it will be too soon, so Honky Tonk will FINALLY shut the  up. The Honk-a-Meter updates every week are quite nice. In your face, Honky Donk Man! |

The Intercontinental Title is already a big enough JOKE and jobber title as it is....if Honky Tonk Man at age 56 shows up and wins the title....then they might as well just get rid of the belt because you would never be able to restore the prestige of when people held the belt like Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Mr. Perfect, Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Razor Ramon, Jeff Jarrett, Triple H, The Rock, Steve Austin,.....those were REAL Champions and they never had gimmick JOKE matches or a crappy IC Champion in those days.
The only way to save the IC Title is to take people like CM Punk and JBL out of the WHC picture....back in the day Main Eventers ALWAYS had the IC Title and for a while the IC Title was more popular. The IC Title was defended in FOUR ladder matches before the WWE title ever was.
