I created a new thread here since my old one was entirely too pic heavy as it is. And with these new ones, I took a lot of pics. Here is a link to the old thread if anyone is interested in taking a look at my previous Friday the 13th masks.

Onto the new stuff. First up is a MINI mask. This mask is 1/3 the scale size of a regular hockey mask. I did this one in the form of the mask from Friday the 13th part VII: The New Blood. This mask will actually be signed by Kane Hodder and raffled away this weekend at The Scare Fest in Lexington, KY.
Next up is a full sized hockey mask, complete with screen accurate straps. This was a really fun one to do. It took a while. But nowhere near as long as the part VIII which you will see a bit later in this thread...

Now onto the part VIII: Jason takes Manhattan. I had never really spent more than a day working on any of these until I tackled the part VIII. The mask is made of a slightly thinner mold. It was molded in black PVC too so it was MUCH harder to paint. It also has screen accurate straps that I assembled. The straps on this mask are awesome. I really dig it. Here are step by step pictures that I took along the way since I knew this one would be a bit more challenging. This mask has a LOT of painting on it though it may not look like it.

The second mask I ever painted is actually a cross between the remake mask and the part IV mask. At the time there still wasn't any perfectly clear pics of the new mask. So I just took a few elements of it and incorporated it into a part IV design

ingnominal, and the weathering where the chunk is taken out is an extremely nice touch. I just love how dirty and old it looks, especially with the little "stain" on it by the chin.
