I love the mini mask. Of course I like the other one, but the mini one's from my favorite F13th film, so I'm partial.

Amazing work as always. Your so good at painting these. It seems so smooth and the edges are so well done. I have to know -- do you plan on seeing the new Friday the 13th? Surely, you'll end up making a mask for that film.

Surely, you'll end up making a mask for that film. Yes definitely. The second mask I ever painted is actually a cross between the remake mask and the part IV mask. At the time there still wasn't any perfectly clear pics of the new mask. So I just took a few elements of it and incorporated it into a part IV design Here's a pic of the second mask I ever painted with the mini so people can get a good comparison of the size difference and so you can get somewhat of an idea what elements I took from the 2009 Friday the 13th flick.

Those are so badass, you painted them so well and the creativity to do these is great. I was wondering do you make those mask in your own molds or where do you get them at?

Jesus CHRIST MAN! Those are AWESOME! That mini mask is phe ingnominal, and the weathering where the chunk is taken out is an extremely nice touch. I just love how dirty and old it looks, especially with the little "stain" on it by the chin. I am digging the Hell out of the new straps too.

I get them from Ken Tarallo. They are from the original movie mold used in part 3. They come completely blank and untouched. So other than molding them, I do everything. I'm going to comissioning some in the very near future. This has easily turned into my biggest hobby Jesus CHRIST MAN! Those are AWESOME! I am absolutely dying to do a part VII full size now. I will be doing that next I do believe. The mini didn't take that long at all. I think I did the whole thing in maybe 1 hour. But I'm very happy with how it turned out. it's so small. It fits my cat nicely

As usual awesome stuff! It almost seems as if the regular sized one had a baby, lol. You need to make Mini-mini's so you can sell them for use with custom figures of Jason.

It's crazy how good those look, they're all amazing. You should get a job making film props, maybe you already do. I love the mental picture of a cat in the mini one too LOL.

Haha, that's awesome. I love what you do with the masks. Brings something different to our forum here. Are the blanks really $55 a pop, or is there a cheaper place to get them?

Today we salute you, Mr. Friday the 13th replica mask maker.Yeah. They are 55. I don't know of anywhere with them cheaper. It'll be even harder to find a more authentic product as well. These are from the part 3 movie mold.

Good to know. I doubt I'd ever make one, as I don't think I'd do it as well as you, haha. I'll stick to figures, since I'm good at that. What is the mask itself made of? Is it bendable?

It's made of a very durable plastic/pvc. They are made just like they are in the movies. The part VIII mask is a bit more flexible since it's made in the style of what they call a stunt mask. Just gives it more of a warped look. The PVC is rather flexible. I'm going to start painting some of these for commissions in the near future. But I won't be charging NEAR as much as a loat of mask painters. lol
