Last week's Consequences Creed vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir match on iMPACT! lost an astounding 340,000 viewers, which is the biggest viewership loss of the year, if not in iMPACT! ratings history.
Following the segment were interviews with Kevin Nash, Beer Money and The Beautiful People, which lost 95,000 viewers. Beer Money vs. Shark Boy & Super Eric gained 109,000 viewers. The Abyss vs. Johnny Devine match gained 150,000 additional viewers. The ODB vs. Raisha Saeed match lost 163,000 viewers. The AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage match gained 109,000 viewers. A Sting promo closing the show gained 82,000 viewers and did a 1.10 rating.
Overall, the show drew a 1.03 cable rating and 1.4 million viewers going up against the NFL season opener. The show did a 0.77 rating in both Males 18-34 and Males 35-49 demos.

I think the better explanation is... who cares about Consequences Creed or Abdul Bashir? Their characters aren't interesting and their ringwork is far from what I'd consider must see.

Again I think way too much stake is put in these how many people they lose and gain through the segments. Concentrate on building a consistent show and stop hotshotting around what segments lost and didn't. A show with a slow build with the promise of a decent main event is easy enough. Just watch how it used to be done. Then if that doesn't work start doing all the "put this first!" "No put the knockouts last", "Wait no now put the eric young thing here!" TNA IS TRYING TOO HARD AND HAS TOO MANY HANDS IN THE CREATIVE POT. SIMPLIFY.

I saw that match and it was not great.. Davari winning and then getting the call reversed by the ref was ok but the ref acting like he is a wrestler is REALLY dumb! That sucks that it lost so many viewers but I guess now they know that people didn't like the match combination.

Ever think it's going to go somewhere? People just like at the here and now instead of thinking long term. Yeah, it's going somewhere...hear that flush? I think it was last year that I defended TNA and even got on some people tat were complaining about booking, storylines, etc. Well, I think I've 90% "crossed the line" with them. Just cant even watch this stuff anymore. When 340, 000 people flip the channel, somethings wrong. I think people really want this compnay to be good, but it doesnt seem like they do.
