Not really. He's decent, but I don't think of him as above a mid-carder. Him being in that WWE Title match just shows that Smackdown is not on par with Raw in terms of star power or main eventers. I hate using the small card, but in my opinion it would not be belivable for Kendrick to even beat the size of someone like Triple H. Size will forever hold him down, although I would not see main event potential in him anyway.

When he quoted The Art of War on Smackdown is when I finally "got it" with Kendrick.

HELL YES.
How can you not like it? Zeke plays the enforcer gimmick amazingly, he just has that badass look and is there for Kendrick 100 percent. See, the worst thing they could do, is break them up. It works because Zeke is there to back Kendrick up, and nothing else.
Kendrick is a cruiserweight, so he uses his mind to get him ahead. I find it genius that most of the time, Kendrick was using a mat based attack rather than just flying all over the place. He pulls out the high flying moves when he wants to.
He's cocky, hilarious in his victory dance...and just the perfect heel.
THE Brian Kendrick is believable in the main event, and deserves it.

It is with me. I am pleasantly surprised at how well he is doing with it, and that WWE is giving him the right kind of push. I'm also surprised that WWE found a gimmick for him so quickly and Paul London is no where to be found. lol

I swear I'm not trying to be a dick, but can somebody please tell me what exactly his gimmick is supposed to be? I mean he just kinda does a drunken stumble/dance all the time, and he wears a jacket. That's all I can gather.

It's awesome. Kind of reminds me of Alex Wright with the jacket and dancing, but with a Shawn Michaels element to it as well. Good stuff.
