Well TNA has really done it now. They've taken the X-Division title which highlighted amazing matches between Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles with the belt amongst other greats who have touched the belt. Even Sonny Siaki is better than we've got now even though I didn't really approve of him.
Now we've got Daivari.. DAIVARI!!! I don't care what they call him the Sheik or whatever but he sucks and now he is wearing the X-Division title. It truly proves that this Division is officially gone. With Dutt and Lethal hung up in their feud it leaves the X-Division in a big heap of crap. I thought Johnny Devine was the nail in the coffin but Daivari proves to finally be it. Now we can all expect to see him at Bound for Glory in our X-Division title match. And TNA looks at it as we hate him but actually WE DON'T WANT TO EVEN WATCH HIM!!!
TNA stop taking WWE talent and thinking you can use it. WWE let some guys go for a reason. Matt Morgan and Daivari shouldn't be in the ring for a REASON!

Bashir is a very good wrestler, his gimmick blows but that is not his fault.

He sucks at wrestling. What does he offer to the X-Division that guys like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin and even Homicide don't offer?
He sucks and the only reason he has a job was because he was employed by WWE at one point.

This is just another mans an opinion but he came in for a one shot deal (World X Cup) and he must've done something right to get a job. He can cut a promo and he can wrestle and didn't kill the division at all. It's better than Petey Williams holding onto the title and doing nothing with it. It's obvious they wanted the title off of Petey heading into BFG so most likley Creed could win it off Bashir. So, it made sense for Bashir being the heel he is to take advantage of the CD in Petey's home contruy of Canada. It was a smart booking descion if they're leading to Creed taking the strap of Bashir at BFG or down the road since Petey's already beat Creed like 2-3 times.

Well seeing you also like Creed as well I see the type of wrestlers you like.
If you watched the X-Division in its early days, this day and age can't touch it.

I don't see what me likeing Creed has anything to do with this. Yeah, I'm a fan of his work so what? That doesn't void my opinion and it also doesn't mean my taste in wrestlers suck. What's funny is I stated my opinion and you had to take a little pot shot with your comment about me also liking Creed. No sense in that crap really. If you didn't want others opinion that might've been diffrent then you shouldn't have never made this post.

No offense, but the division has had one foot in the grave for a while now. Having the title on Petey wouldn't have done crapfor the Division at all(as was shown). The only thing that could make the X-Division great again is if it was showcased properly. The man holding the title isn't as important as the way it's shown to fans and showcased in the current product. Having a title feud out shined by a feud over a woman is a drastic mistake on TNA's part. The fact the X-Division title, and the division itself has taken a backseat to almost everything TNA has done the past year is really pissing me off, and making the X-Division look like a joke. They need to showcase it, and let it be great. Last night was how the X-Division should start building itself back up. With a lot of attention being placed on Sheik lately, he has a chance to get more attention onto the Division and the title itself, but it's a far cry. Having him feud with such an over superstar like Creed could help him out in getting more over as a heel, getting him more over as a champion, and helping to get the Division slowly back on the rise. It's gonna take a lot though. TNA has taken a major hit with MCMG as a tag team, Styles all but permanently in main event division, Lethal and Sonjay involved in a side feud, Devine too busy being Team 3D's bitch, and Daniels being stuck under a mask that does nothing but add a little comedy to each episode of Impact. TNA is lacking the depth in the Division, and that is their major problem. It's going to be hard to get a focus back on the Division at this point.

After Kurt Angle won the belt, it started sucking. This isn't Bashir's fault, by any means. If anything, he'll help out the division.

It's hard to know what to do with it really. You either should make that title the focus of your product and primarily showcase that type of wreslting, ala ROH to an extent. Or you make it like a cruiserweight title, but keep that talent away from the heavyweight belt. Since X-division is about (no limits) it kind of makes that impossible so the two kind of mesh in a weird way. Then you've got what the fans consider much better workers, not holding the company's biggest belt. The x-division is in a bad spot with nowhere to go.

After Kurt Angle won the belt, it started sucking. All the belts took a HUGE hit in credibility when Kurt Angle held them for a good two months straight. But anyway I agree. The X-division might as well be scrapped and called the cruiserweight division... it resembles WWE's cruiserweight division in its dying days... a handful of smaller workers who aren't seen as potential main eventers given underdeveloped feuds, if any feud at all. Can anyone see Bashir as a future TNA world champ? What about Creed? If you said yes to either you're delusional. That is the difference between the X-division of old and the half-assed one we have today. It was almost on par with the world title division, and it's titleholders were seen as potential main eventers. The X-division title should have been used to further the Lethal/Dutt feud. Sonjay should be holding the X-division title as we speak. He is a far better worker than Bashir, and a far more interesting heel.

He didn't even hold the X-Title nor the tag team titles for a month - but at 28 days. Far from two months..
