According to an eyewitness, there was an incident shortly before 11 AM Wednesday morning at the Nashville International Airport involving WWE star Jeff Hardy, who was removed from his flight heading to North Carolina. Hardy, who was traveling with Gregory Helms and his brother Matt, was taken off his flight by several police officers. "Hardy wasn't in handcuffs, but he was clearly being 'escorted', said an eyewitness who asked not to be identified. "They weren't touching him though, but they had him flanked. He was wearing the same clothes he left the building in Tuesday night. Once they got him off the plane they allowed him to use his phone, before leading him away." There were conflicting stories floating around among WWE performers following Wednesday's incident. At this point we are still looking to confirm exactly what the reason was that Hardy was removed from the plane and we don't want to speculate any further beyond that. We can confirm Hardy was removed from his scheduled flight after boarding the plane and that the story had made its way around Titan Tower, where there was concern about his standing with the company. The story was a big topic of conversation among WWE's workers yesterday as well. Calls made on Wednesday to the Nashville International Airport's Investigations department were not returned. www.pwmania.com/newsarticle.php?page=223759266In regard to the Jeff Hardy incident yesterday at the Nashville International Airport, The UK Sun noted a World Wrestling Entertainment spokesperson told the British outlet, "WWE has been informed of an alleged incident involving Jeff Hardy. We are currently investigating the situation and will take appropriate actions if needed." We will have more on this breaking story throughout the day today. www.pwmania.com/newsarticle.php?page=223759318

My sister brought up a good point when I told her about this. If someone has a migraine or health issue they must be escorted off of airplanes by law enforcement and not just anyone working on the plane. Do I think this is what's going on? No. But if it were drugs or weapons it would have been done before he boarded the plane.

No. But if it were drugs or weapons it would have been done before he boarded the plane. Very true. It could also be he got drunk before the flight and sat down and got even more drunk. They check you before flights not while you are already in and sitting down.

I found this on prowrestling.com whether its true or not its your choice. "I contacted the Nashville International Airport this morning and was referred to airport spokesperson, Emiley Richard. She says she was not aware of an incident involving Jeff Hardy or any other WWE Superstars this week. Emily also said that no official report regarding Hardy had been filed with the Nashville International Airport. " www.prowrestling.com/article/news/10358like i said its up to you to believe it or not

Not sure if this means anything, but nothing is on WWE.com's Industry News section. Not saying WWE would not want it on their website since it's about their most over Superstar, but they have TNA news. So maybe theres a chance it IS fake?

Well it must not have been that bad because Matt Hardy posted a blog saying that that night him and Jeff went out to eat and that they will be at the show in Columbus.

i would say at this point then that he probably was escorted off or whatever, but that it was over nothing of real importance

watch this be some angle like next week on smackdown they say that Triple H planted drugs on him to try and get him fired because two weeks ago he already said that Jeff Hardy was a man who already had "2 strikes against him...3 strikes and you're out of the game".

The Nashville experience
Hello amigos! I hope everybody's having a great day. I had a really great first loop as the ECW Champ this weekend through the states of Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and then Tennessee. I was really happy with my performance and win Tuesday night in Nashville against Mike Knox. Thanks to all my MFers in Nashville that were in my corner that night-I appreciate ya! I actually thought the entire broadcast of ECW of Sci-Fi was a really strong show. I like that and want that every week. I truly due take pride in my ECW brand-especially considering the fact I'm currently one of the biggest representatives as the brand's champion.
Afterwards, I had a nice celebratory dinner and some good fellowship with some of WWE friends. I also had the best breakfast sandwich ever in the Nashville airport Wednesday morning. I then took the nice, easy flight back over to Raleigh, and was back home before I knew it. That evening, myself, Jeff, and Beth had the best Japanese hibachi and sushi ever. Everything is good. Jeff and I will see you guys and gals Sunday in Columbus. Be well my friends!

Ive been saying since the time I joined here at WF, the "reliable sources" on the internet are no different than you or I. They guess what happens, and blow it completely out of proportion, yet they keep getting people to believe them, even though they're never right.. Ever..
