So I finally watched yesterday's Impact! and I have got to say that they are playing this very smartly. First off the Sting and Joe promos are great seeing as how they focus mainly on the world title and make it as important as it should be. The build of the two youngins of the Motor City machine Guns is fantastic as they have pretty much put Sabin in the position of the young guy who has had enough and slapped the damn vets ie BG James, Christian Then they do something I didn't see coming, making Christian pick the side of the vets. He clearly pointed out that he feels he put AJ on the map though it could be made an argument that AJ was already on the map way back when TNA was still afiiliated with the NWA. This is a great feud and I just wanted to a topic we could all put out thoughts together. You could tell it is really connecting with the fans when Sting came out to cut that promo and some were saying, " You Suck!" to him but by the end of his promo, they were cheering him as if he had just laid the verbal smackdown.

This storyline is very good. I like to see Christian playing the vet side.

Im going for Team Respect. The reason why the Vets are there is because the New Gen. (w/the exception of Double J) couldn't make TNA what it is today without the Vets.

I have to say that they way they played the AJ/Christian this past week was damn awesome and you could see AJ wanted to say that if not for him TNA wouldn't exist.

I cannot pick yet. It is too much in the beginning stages to choose. It is nice to see Christian on team respect's side. I have always viewed him as a young guy. He is getting older, but I had been into wrestling for about 8 years when Christian came around. I guess it is just nice to see the mid-card guys I grew up with really turning into respected vets.

I hear you man. I could actually see Rhino joining this feud at some point as well.

We all know Jarrett's gonna turn heel and lead the older guys stable. It would be a very Russo type swerve... since he has the booking ability and shock ability of a 10 year old watching Nightmare on Elm St. But I would say also that hopefully Dutch has some say and that to a degree I would hope that Foley could put some blood in this.

Sting was good at one time, but really I have never been a big fan and can't stand him in TNA. TNA don't need him for his name, they need wrestlers wrestling their heart out just like TNA had in it's first 4 to 5 years.
Si I go with the new Generation

Its really hard for me honestly...I grew up a "Little Stinger" so I dont want my last idol to leave or "pass the torch" since Flair and Luger are gone, however I do like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin (the main 4 I see as the future of TNA along with Samoa Joe). I dont really care for guys like Booker, Angle, Nash or Jarrett so I guess Im siding more with the younger guys. Its just a shame that Sting and Jarrett couldnt swap places because Sting is in as good of shape if not better then 80% of the younger guys and probably could still wrestle for 10 more years at TNA pace.

I really like how Shelley's and Sabin's reactions towards guys after their matches are shaping who's going to be on which side. This whole thing seems really interesting, and should be great. I'd have to go with the New Generation.

This thread reeks of kayfabe. Do you even know the definition of kayfabe?? Kayfabe is when a character or talent does not break is in-ring/on stage (since kayfabe is not only a wrestling term) character outside/inside the ring. So how are we, the fans, reeking of kayfabe? Grow up and stop watching wrestling if you're going to crap on others who enjoy it.

I am kinda in the middle here I've been in both Shoes like when I was dressing for a Match and a Old timer came in I have given up my seat for him so he could sit and get changed so I can see where that respect factor comes in because it is often lacking in and out of Wrestling. However, I can't agree with the old timers in as much as the manor of speaking that the younger guys do not respect the Vets in the game infact they are doing what many old timers have done and that is stand up and take on the previous generation that will secure their own positions in the future
