There is some results up on wrestlezone.com from some raido interview that Robert Roode did and he announced during the interview that his contract is one of the 10 TNA contracts that is going to expire in March of 2009 and WWE is interested in Robert Roode. I think Robert Roode should stay in TNA because it would be a big blow to TNA if he goes to WWE and TNA needs Robert Roode's star power to remain on the map. Would you like to see Robert Roode stay in TNA or go to WWE when his TNA contract expires in March of 2009?

Great, just great. TNA needs to stop siging people all out once. At the end of October HALF their Knockouts Division contracts expires and now in March TEN expire? Great.
Could you post the interview (if it's text)?

If he does go to WWE; which I hope he doesn't; I called it like...two years ago.

I hope Robert Roode goes to the WWE. He is not getting the push that he deserves. He does seem to fit the WWE style more as well. I hope there is some truth to this, and I'd really like to see him in the WWE as long as they didn't screw up with him.

If he goes to WWE, they won't use him right. Not everyone is CM Punk. He should stay in TNA and get pushed into the Main Event.
I have a feeling that if Roode goes to WWE, it'll be Kazarian's WWE run all over again.

To be honest, it sounds like GM Mode on a SD game. Since everything is expiring at once.

I think if they keep him happy he'll resign.

I do not want him in the fed. Mostly because I do not think he is ready.

Honestly, I think a lot of these guys whose contracts are expiring and are looking towards the WWE need to hear a little joke:
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Braden Walker.

I love Roode and all....but TNA wouldn't be affected if he wasn't there.

Nobody should look at what happened to Chris Harris cause Harris screwed himself. He's the one who showed up out of shape like he was at the end of his TNA run. Harris had 6 months to prepare and he still showed up in the worse shape of his career. An ex-WWE writer was interviewed on Figure Four audio recently and he talked about how WWE called up Harris for his debut wanting to give him a shot. So right before debuting Harris goes out and buys that generic looking black singlet to wear for his debut. So it was clear that Harris didn't have a clue.
Ofcourse, there's the typical smarky mindest of how everybody is better off not being in WWE. The wrestlers are usually brainwashed enough by management and the internet. The wrestlers are marks for pleasing the internet. With non-WWE management, they brainwash wrestlers just like Heyman did with ECW.

I must mostly agree here with heelgoldberg, Harris screwed himself out of his "big shot". They signed him and he could've made a name for himself. Instead, showed up for his debut in quite possibly the worst shape of his life. He was in bad shape when leaving TNA, but got worse between that and his ECW debut.
Roode is in great shape and would fit in great with the WWE's style. Bring him in as the mega pretty boy gimmick ( Rick Rude, Lex Lugar ) and let him run with it. TNA isn't going anywhere and with guys like Sting, Jarrett, Angle and Booker T in the spotlight... Roode won't be shining anytime soon.
And heres to hoping the other contracts are: Lance Rock, Kip James, BG James, Brother Ray, Brother Devon, Scott Steiner, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley and Awesome Kong... with only Sabin, Shelly and Kong being offered renewals and turning them down. MCMG going to ROH or the WWE and Kong going to the WWE.

He's not like some high flying small guy that will get lost in the shuffle. He is you're perfect heel. Great on the mic and the ring.
