Man I remember when that figure hit RSC and I had preordered it and it arrived in the mail. I opened it up and was just floored by the real scan technology. I felt like I was holding Edge in my hand. Then I soon realized how bad the figure was b/c of that ing rubber jacket. I had to an arm switch and then it was awesome again!

That is a great figure. It was one of my first few Jakks figs. Ahhh, the early days. When my collection didn't need an entire room to itself. If they ever made a CS figure of Edge that's what I would want it to look like only with a removable jacket. I actually put this Edge figure on my CS shelf along with other "Attitude" era characters.

Excellent buy from the heyday of Jakks WWF figures.
TTL's often get a bad rap on these boards, but Jakks was on their game from 1999-2001 when the Real Scan technology was at its peak.
Many of the tight's designs, such as this ROTR1 Edge, were very detailed and still stand the test of time, in my opinion.
Thanks for sharing pics, and great deal on the Kenny Dykstra.

I never understand why TTL do get the shaft here. Honestly, some of the best JAKKS figures were TTL. FS2 Triple H is the most detailed Triple H figure ever...it even had the tape around the individual fingers that we wore at the time. TTL5 Undertaker was awesome (so good it was re-released, I think, in CS3) I could go on and on...

Love the older TTL's. I recently bought a Rulers of the Ring 4 Molly from a user on here : )
It'll be my second one, but I wanted one MOC.

Absolutely, I think they have Tazz and Al snow in this series as well. I think they have the 2 pack Matt and Jeff and also DS5 they have the APAs

The Famous Scenes 2 Triple H has to be the best Triple H figure ever.

Great figure. Great memories. That was the beginning of my collecting peak back in the day. I managed to find Bubba, D'Von, Tazz and Ivory relatively easy as well as all of DS4. I wish I had picked that one up. It's a bad ass figure. Enjoy it!

Edge and Ivory were the big shelfwarmers of ROTR1. I think Al Snow was too. Dudleys and Taz were completely impossible to find from my experience. Great series. Yet though I wanted Taz, Edge and Ivory, the only ones I found was that Gunn/HHH set. As for Al Snow...we all know the reason why he was a shelfwarmer regarding a woman complaining on the Snow figure [or was that just a storyline?]

The woman was my Sophmore year Psychology professor (at least that is what she said). Anyway, that fuss was over the BCA Al Snow figure with "Head"...
