It's not too bad, it needs touching up on a the skin and pants, then varnashing. Which varnish should I use. I've got Matt Varnish

Thanks Folks, I'm not 100% happy with it myself. The reason I did it was because the hawk figure and the rockers shawn michaels were not good. I could improve on the paint work, but i'm sure with time and patients i could only get better, thanks again.

Its a decent attempt... i think all hasbro fans agree, the original lod should have had removable spikes. Keep up the work man, if you need anymore help check out my hasbro post at wfigs.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=Customs2&action=display&thread=28632 drop some questions on there and i'll get back to you. Again, decent attempt and what you have done is a simple and great way of practicing. ~Fox~

Obviously the face needs repainting but that's a nice first try. Keep working and you'll see that the more you do, the better they will look.

I just wanted to throw this in:
Since Hasbros are plastic and not rubber like LJN or Jakks, you can use enamel paint on them. It will go on smoother, and you can even use spray paint made for plastic. Treat them the same as you would styrene plastic model kits.

I think the hairs a bit to yellow and the side logo isn't finshed, i m considering righting hardcore Holly on the side as practice.

very good 2nd effort, i would go over anything which looks a little transparent, i.e, the white trimmings on the shorts. You did however pick one of the better 'parts/figs' to custom a Holly. Add more white to the yellow and redo the hair. its going to be interesting to see how you progress, you obviously are going o get better with time... not to mention you are a fan of the best figure line ever released Also, edit your thread title, every time you add a custom, change the title to "xxxx hasbro added" and i will be sure to check it out, i nearly didnt click on it this time as i had already left a comment and it was by chance that i noticed you new custom. keep it up man

Yeah I love Hasbro's. I know which is rare etc so i'm only playing around with either broken or un valuable figures. I've got about 10 to mess around with. My next figure will be Terry Funk.

That's unpossible! But seriously, these are a great start for customs, almost makes me wanna hit the local 2nd hand toy shop and see if there's any hiding in the figure bin. Looking forward to the Funker, I've seen a few customs of him online but even the good ones looked a bit off, I bet you'll do a great job.

I already see progress compared to your first one. I'm sure Funk will be even better. Good job.

I'm not doing a T-Shirt Funk. I'm doing it from a match he had with austin in 1998. I'm about 60% need to do the hair, body and boots. It's took me ages to do the legs. But i'm very pleased with it. I've tried doing Funks stomach aswel. It's abit cut up so it will be a effort. I want to do Austin Next, but that won't be for a while. Your Customs look fantastic

appreciate that mate, the last one i made was mid last year, and ive just started again over the last month, i have 3 or 4 on the go at the moment.
If you ever want tips or anything like that, feel free to ask me man, im not trying to be a guru, but ive been doing this for a while and i think you have seen my hasbro help thread in the support forum.
I always like spotting 'hasbro' in a new thread.
Please make sure you do 1 thing... dont rush any of them just so you can stick them up on here, take your time, like you said the stomach may be an effort. And also go back and go over the Holly, it will be worth it in the long run, instead of just leaving it, touch it up and take a new photo.
Take it easy
