I'd have to say Sting. Had the WWF signed Sting in the late 80's, he could have gotten over huge due to their demographic. The facepaint is something the younger fans would have eaten up and cared about. I'd say to anyone that Sting is one of the greatest wrestlers to not only never wrestle for McMahon, but also compete at a WrestleMania.
Who do you think is the greatest wrestler or personality that has never worked for McMahon?

Sting. I'm going to guess in a couple years we could say Styles or Samoa Joe.
Scratch that, they've both done dark matches.

Sting is the first that pops to mind. He is one of the only WCW superstars in the business to my knowledge to never work for McMahon. Muta and Liger are two others to mention. That was one big part of WCW I liked is how they exchanged talent with Japan promotions.

Sting, definitely.
i like that on the Flair dvd, he talks about how he told Sting that the only mistake he ever made was not working for Vince, and how if Sting had went there instead of Warrior, he'd have been in the main event with Hogan at WM VI

I gotta go with Sting. The Great Muta in his prime was a fantastic performer, but if we're talking about the complete package, the WWF/WWE could have marketed Sting to the moon... especially in the early 1990s.
Consider how far they got with the Warrior even though he was a constant headache, quitting every eight months, etc. Then imagine a guy like Sting getting the same push, without all the bitching and quitting, and also being a superior performer.
Sting would have been amazing in the WWF, whereas I'm afraid they would have wasted Muta. They don't have a very good track record with making the most out of talented Japanese wrestlers.

I'd also have to say Sting but I reckon if Magnum TA hadn't been injured and could have prolonged his career - he would've been pretty big in the WWF

The first person that comes to mind is Sting.....Flair said if Vince had Sting there never would have been an Ultimate Warrior and Hogan would have been as big as he was in the early 90s

The title of this thread just brings Sting to mind everytime. I think Vince could have taken the crow character and made it huge.

Jushin Thunder Liger, although he probably would've gotten the Ultimo Dragon treatment.
