He's been using the Gringo Cutta (if its even called that) more lately. I don't remember the last match I saw with him using the Killa.
Look at who he's been facing though? Beer Money/3D - they're not the smallest wrestlers around to hit it on. I think if they start wrestling smaller teams (RNR etc) he'll use it more. It's also called "Gringo Stunna". Alot of people still look at the GK as his finisher though.
Exactly. There is no way in hell Homicide could pull the GK off on Bubba or Devon. He might be able to do it to Storm or Roode but even that seems like a tall order. Homicide is a little dude. Lately Hernandez seems to be doing all the heavy lifting.
As far as them being upset about the possible split and Hernandez wanting double the money or whatever. I don't know. They are a good team and the fans like them but, I don't think they would be a huge loss. Keeping Roode and Kong is far more important. Homicide and Hernandez are limited in my opinion. Neither guy cuts a great promo. Which is something that I believe is essential to being a top singles competitor. Homicide is definitely the stronger of the two in that department. So I could see him having a good run in the X-Division. Hernandez is just too blah to be a singles wrestler. I mean he does some pretty cool stuff for his stocky stature but nothing that screams heavyweight champion.
I guess I would let them walk if they are that unhappy. There are plenty of indy workers out there that would love to be on national television. There are probably some guys in ROH that wouldn't mind the chance. I just don't think LAX isn't that important. I also really don't see WWE giving them much of a look. They don't really fit the mold at all. I could be wrong though.
Just a side note. Am I the only one left who likes to remember the RKO/Gringo Cutta as the Diamond Cutter? I still think DDP did it better than anyone.
