AC/DC is the most overrated band ever. They have pretty much 2 songs, since most of them sound the same. Not to mention all the kids that wear Back In Black shirts without knowing its a real  ing band. |

I agree with the post above. I've never thought AC/DC lived up to their hype, and I'm Australian. Thunderstruck, Back In Black and TNT. Apart from that, bleh.

AC/DC is the most overrated band ever. They have pretty much 2 songs, since most of them sound the same. Not to mention all the kids that wear Back In Black shirts without knowing its a real ing band. +1 |

I think the Bon Scott songs where way better but with Brain they did do some good ones

They have more or less been a nostalgia act for 18 years... their last great album was "The Razor's Edge"... which actually has my favorite AC/DC song on it: "Moneytalks."
Angus Young basically said that they have been releasing "the same album" for 30 years... Angus can still write some pretty good riffs though, and has along with Brian May, one of the best sounding guitars in rock history, in my opinion. It sounds like AC/DC... not great, but tolerable.

Also how in the hell is being a sucessful band for 30+ years overated? What other bands can do that? I bet there isn't more then 10 maximum. Yeah, some people don't like them but guess what EVERY band reuses there old stuff in different tones, timing, effects, etc. EVERY BAND, not 1 or 2 but every one that has been established. Very rarely will you see a band you a completely new stuff, will they throw in some new stuff yeah, but an entire album worth hell no. Also the single is okay but Rock 'N Roll Train is better. |

I second that,you won't hear the jonas brothers,(record company blowhards),etc. putting an album out 10,20,30 years down the road and STILL selling out arenas,hell,bands(if thats what you wanna call them,or boy bands) like that are lucky to fill an auditorium at the most,much less a school gym.
