I feel like with toys in general, if you've kept packaging after so many years you might as well make space for it. The collage idea sounds pretty cool too. But I'm probably so OCD regarding the boxes that if I cut them up I'd most likely end up throwing them all away and get upset that I butchered them lol. How would you guys feel if you still had a ton of Jakks or Hasbro original carding/packaging in perfect condition after all these years? Would you still chuck it all out? That's why I cut out pieces now lol! I think of all the old Jakks and Hasbros I threw out over the years! |

Here's a shocker, ROH is coming back to Toronto on November 11th at Mattamy. It's the 1st time in 4 years they're running Toronto twice in the same year. The good news is it's a Global Wars show which means New Japan talent is coming in! Nice!! I'll probably go. |

Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice regarding my Elite figure boxes. I still have every box from every Elite I have ever owned -- totalling around 100. I wanted to hang onto all of them just in case I ever sold my collection but that may not happen for a while. Plus, I thought it would be cool if I hung onto boxes for the future, you know, looking back at how old they are and being happy that I kept them. However I will be moving soon and need to figure something out for them. Should I keep the real old ones? Should I throw everything away? Any recommendations? All my life I threw away all my packaging. Considering I've been collecting since I was a kid that's a hell of a lot. But a few years ago I saw someone make a collage of all the old packaging and it looked pretty cool. Now I will just cut out a piece of each package. For example for the Flair DM I'll cut out the side panel of the flair picture. I've been doing this for the past few years. I've got a few hundred pieces saved up. They don't take up much room at all. No way I could hang on to complete boxes. Would take up. Way too much space. |

Not Figure related but I remember wal mart's wrestling t shirts being discussed on here recently. Walmart.ca has some shirts marked down to under $6.

Where’s the best place to buy Marvel Legends? I don’t think there’s a right answer. Target and Walmart get decent stock but can skip waves or get overloaded on other waves. Walgreens gets fewer figures but can sometimes have the newest wave. They also have exclusives. GameStop also seems to get newer waves quick, but are marked up a few dollars. Now that TRU is gone Amazon is an option but the popular figures will be harder to get in your cart just like certain WWE elites or whatever’s hot. People usually post where stuff is popping up in this thread. Toyark forums are more dedicated to non Wwe stuff so checking there for news isn’t bad. It's funny in Canada, ebgames(Canadian version of GameStop) is actually a few bucks cheaper to buy legends. |
