I've bought a lot of crap over the last few months, but here's what I just ordered: Because I need more John Ford in my life. Because I missed this boat that sailed 15 years ago. And because I can't resist an Amazon sale. Also, I feel I'm not allowed to watch Rogue Nation until I've seen the third and fourth installments, which I have not.

I watched and reviewed The Martian earlier this week. I thought it was a solid 2/4.

Is it just me that thinks this is Nick's last breath.. Probably not considering Nickelodeon is one of several subsidiaries owned by Viacom.

Nightmare on Elm Street followed by New Nightmare.
With New Nightmare, Wes Craven made meta horror cool before he made it cooler in Scream.

Back to the Future
This has always been one of those movies I turn to when I'm stressed or feeling down. It has, in a way, always been by my side. We, the movie and I, are the same age.

Watched Coppola's Dracula film. I'm not sure why this film is so well regarded. The set designs are impressive and the cinematography is brilliant. Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins are great. But everything else is a disaster. Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder are terrible. They're more like glaring distractions. The plot is bloated. The tone of the film is in a perpetual state of flux. It's such a wreck. Oldman despised the divatastic Ryder to the point where he insisted a stunt double be employed for the kissing scenes. They hated one another from day 1.....its a miracle the movie seen the light of day with the descendants of Vlad taking Universal to court etc etc. People always miss Monica Bellucci in this one too..... my last was Age Of Ultron on Blu. Even better on repeat viewings!! Interesting! I had no idea. I'm glad Oldman and I share similar sentiments.

It's such a wreck. Its well regarded because Its the only Dracula film to closely follow the book. (With the execption of Jess Franco's Dracula in 1970 but that was a super B movie.) Thats why its called "Bram Stroker's Dracula." Bram Stroker being the author of the novel. Yes, I understand its relationship with Stoker's novel. And when you say "to closely follow the book," that is an overstatement. Regardless, just because a film is a more faithful adaption doesn't make it worth regard or praise.

I don't understand why you guys are telling him not to get a PS3. Sure, the focus is on the current generation of consoles, but that doesn't dismiss the years of great games released for last generation.

I recently got a promo poster for Ex Machina from Best Buy. But I work there and simply took it when we were going to throw it out.

Sucks. I've been an avid supporter of this show since the beginning. It was one of very few shows I've watched on network television over the past few years.
