I haven't watched the show yet but just looked at the results and photos on the website. Please can someone explain to me why the Bellas ended up in the ring with Ronda? So they can built towards Nikki Bella vs Rhonda Rousey as the main event for Evolution.

If you you ask me, WWE doesn't need a cinematic approach. What they need most is better writing, more specifically they desperately need believable bad guys. Heels drive the on air show and modern WWE heels are just far too cookie cutter. The same could be said for the faces as well, but face characters, by and large, have always been pretty interchangeable. They need more badass heels. I'm not talking dudes that cant be bothered to show up half the time. I'm talking bad guys that don't run away all the time. Bad guys that can and do win in a fair fight. Bad guys that do bad stuff and like it. Kevin Owens and Tommaso Ciampa in NXT are perfect examples. Give fans that type of bad guy on the main roster and watch how much more interesting WWE shows get.

Anyone here that happens to be going to Fan Expo Canada later this month?
Would love it if someone could help me in acquiring that white Bigfoot Pop! exclusive to the expo. Happy to pay cost, shipping, and some extra for your time and effort.
PM me if you can help.

Sort of do something similar... recently started to set up a home media streaming system for all my movies and tv shows and such. Wanted to add my wrestling collection as well, but quickly realized I just had way too much and trimmed it down by creating 'best of' sets with my favorite matches from each year. So, now I keep a full running list of all the matches I have. Don't need to refer to it much as the wrestling is sorted as tv shows in my setup now. So each company is a different show (ie. wwe, ecw, wcw, tna, & documentary specials) and each year is a different season within each show. Even created custom nfo files so it will display match particulars (like what title is on the line or what stipulation it is) and custom thumbnails for each match with the logo for what event it took place at. It's a lot of work, but will be pretty nifty when it's all done. That’s cool. Does sound like a lot of work. I bought a device years ago that’s supposed to let you record from vhs tapes to computer. My plan was to transfer everything I had to computer/external hard drive. That didn’t last long lol. Yeah, it's a ton of work and I started working on it a little over a year ago, but thankfully, I'm almost done and will hopefully have everything up and running within a month. The wrestling alone between WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, Lucha Underground, and all the docs and special sets is nearly 3TB worth, so there's still a lot, even though it's much, much less than I used to have. Actually transferred most to DVD from old VHS tapes years ago and tried one of those VHS to digital devices at first. Didn't work so well, so I got a DVD recorder and transferred everything to DVD that way. Upgraded to official DVDs whenever I could. Ripped those using make MKV and edited out the matches I wanted to keep. Now, it's all going to be run off a NAS and backed up on both portable hard drives and burned DVDs. So, definitely a lot of work, but a real labor of love and easy to maintain and add to once the initial setup is done.

I didn’t wanna start a new thread for this as it is DVD related. I was just curious if anyone else keeps a list of all the matches that they have on DVD/VHS? I have a chronological list of all the matches from the dvds and vhs tapes that I have. Whenever I buy a new dvd, I’ll add it do the list. I have it all sorted by date, and will have all matches or segments from that date listed. Then after each match in parenthesis and colored in red I have the name of the DVD that it can be found on. It took forever to get it together and I’m pretty sure I’ve probably missed a few dvds, but in time I’ll have it complete. Its pretty handy whenever I wanna watch a certain match. Eh...it would be best to just use a new name (and not something stupid like Great Balls of Fire)...There's still so many legendary names out there from old companies that could give an event prestige without taking away from Wrestlemania. My thoughts exactly. IMO, Starrcade is the perfect name if the want to do something like that. Trouble is, they'll more likely than not be able to garner more money by calling g it a WrestleMania event as that name brings much more casual viewers than any other. I think that would be a shame though. I think they'd lose a lot of the aura have more than one a year.

Watched two movies last night...
Annihilation: Largely meh on it. Nice visuals and a decent story, but something felt off all the way through.
Rampage: Not a great movie in a technical sense, but incredibly fun and I loved it!

I heard about this on TESD. Kevin smith is running around trying to find someone to pick the show up. There are plenty of outlets for it. Netflix seems absolutely perfect for Comic Book Men IMO. Bummed about it getting cancelled. My Brother actually got me into the show and the show got me into comics. Hope it can get picked up.

Just waiting my turn for some good news... ![](https://media.giphy.com/media/3o7WTPx44NhnoYkNVe/giphy.gif) Saved By Netflix Luscifer is returning. Great News! So happy to hear it will return for at least one more season. I wonder if they fold in the two 'bonus' episodes from Season 3 into Season 4, considering they were originally filmed to be part of the fourth season.

What the Vegas Golden Knights have done this year is nothing short of amazing. Just a masterful job by the general manager and the coach of putting the right player combinations together and a truly top-notch performance from everyone on the ice, most notably Marc Andre-Fleury, who has played the best hockey of his career in these playoffs. I'm sure being a team filled with mostly castoffs from other teams who have giant chips on their shoulders has helped, but it really is a great sports story being told in the NHL this year. Personally, I'm pulling for Vegas all the way and think they win it in five games, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep either.
Washington has done great to get to the finals too, even if I'm not personally a fan of them, but I think they had a lot of help with a Tampa Bay Lightning team that just plain used up all their playoff mojo getting by Boston in the second round.
FYI for those wondering; An NHL expansion team has, indeed, never one the cup in it's first year. The closest any have come is the St Louis Blues in 1968, who made the finals. However, there were six expansion teams that season who were all placed in the same division and the winner of said division advanced to the finals. In fact, only one expansion sports team has ever won their respective championship in it's first season. That would be the 1998 Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer, who won both the MLS Cup and US Open Cup that year.

I'd venture to say, probably not. There was no series last year and it doesn't seem that series 2 sold very well, so I'm guessing series 3 won't happen. Might get another set of WWE Pint Size Heroes before Mystery Minis.
Series 1 and Series 2 of the Mystery Minis came out around SummerSlam in 2015 and 2016 respectively. I'd say if we don't see Series 3 around the same time this year, that the line got canned.

What? Guess there's no reason to watch Fox now with Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Last Man On Earth, and Lucifer all getting axed. What is it with Fox, the always seem to cancel the best shows they have (with the exception of Bones, which probably went on a couple seasons too long). I watch The Last Man on Earth. I don't even know why (other than I put on TV when I video game, so it's more due to my ADD than anything). That show is terrible. Like really really really bad. As for Lucifer, that's a good show. Too bad it got axed. However, it doesn't surprise me THAT much if you think about demographics. Something like 89% of Americans consider themselves religious. There's probably what... 30% of the country who are hardcore devout Muslim or Christian or Jew and wouldn't even consider watching a show about the devil having sex and solving murders. That cuts into your possible audience numbers by quite a bit. Oh, I totally agree. I'm not surprised in the least that Lucifer was cancelled. Heck, I was actually kinda shocked it made it through the first season without getting axed and then got renewed twice. Just disappointed to see it end and wouldn't expect that one would be a show to get picked up by another network. Netflix MAYBE, but that's a pretty big maybe in my mind. LOL. I think that's actually one of the reasons I watched The Last Man On Earth. Not a great show by any means, but I tended to follow it every week anyway while I was surface the web and such. I don't follow many series shows regularly and five of the few that I do got cancelled all at once (Lucifer, The Last Man On Earth, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The X-Files, and The Librarians). B99 was obviously going to get picked up somewhere (turns out NBC grabbed it), but I don't see a whole lot of hope for the others.

I need people’s opinions. I have a massive collection. Basically everything from 2000 to 2009. All Ppvs and Doc. With the network, I need to part with them. What’s my best option? Like a disc replay type store or eBay? I was in the same situation as you not too long ago. Don't know what the perfect solution is, but I can tell you what worked for me... First and foremost, don't go in thinking you're going to get a whole lot for them because you won't. Your best bet is going to be eBay or the classifieds here. Parting them out individually will be a nightmare and take a heck of a lot of time and listing. Bundling the PPV events by year (ie one lot for 2000, another lot with all the 2001 ppvs, lot three with 2002, etc...) worked best for me. You still won't get a lot, but I was selling similar lots like that for around $40-$50 with free shipping (which isn't much when sent via media mail). A far cry from what you probably paid for them, but honestly pretty good considering how poorly they typically sell these days. I also grouped most of the documentaries and match compilations together by era or similarities. Like all the WCW related ones together. All the ECW ones in another lot. Modern stars. 80s stars. 90s stars. And so on. There's very few sets that are really worth listing on their own on eBay (only one that really jumps to mind is the Chris Benoit set, which should be able to fetch you $15 to $20 on it's own still), though some folks here might be looking to fill holes in their collection.

Some quick Backlash thoughts...
- Miz vs Rollins was great. Rollins has been killing it lately. Might have taken him a while to get back to form after the knee injury, but he's officially back to his old form. Perhaps even better than he's ever been. Why he's not the top babyface on RAW and positioned as THE guy is a mystery to me. Lot of the same sentiments for The Miz, who's been putting in top-level work for years now. Just a great match.
- Jax vs Bliss just went on too long. Nia Jax is much better when her matches are a bit shorter and filled with a bit more intensity. The match had some flashes of quality, but overall, just felt too drawn out. Not terrible, but not something I'd call real good either.
- The Elias segment was fun for what it was. Kinda surreal to see Fandango as part of No Way Jose's dancing train there.
- Bryan vs Cass was about as good as it could have been. Daniel Bryan hasn't missed a beat, but Cass just isn't good at all. He's decent at best and if he weren't seven foot tall, he'd have been released by now.
- Charlotte vs Carmella was SmackDown title match level quality. Good work by both ladies honestly, but it didn't feel special in the least.
- I actually really liked the WWE Championship match. No way should it have been on mid show like that though. Still, it was a real good match and I even actually liked the ending. Don't recall seeing that before, which is a plus for someone who's been watching wrestling for over thirty years. I get why people would hate it, but it was obviously done to further the feud and lead to a more decisive match conclusion down the road. In that regard, it worked perfectly.
- Don't know what to say about Strowman & Lashley vs Owens & Zayn expect that it seemed to be a collection of four guys who are apparently directionless.
- Joe vs Reigns... *Sigh* WWE just doesn't get it with Reigns. The match was bad, but that's not really the point anymore with Reigns matches. Backlash saw fans literally leaving the show during the main event featuring Samoa Joe vs Roman Reigns because they obvious knew what was coming as we've seen it in nearly every Roman Reigns and John Cena match for well over a decade now. The chosen one gets beat down and worn out for the whole match, then pops off a few super moves to the win. If watching your crowd literally turn their backs and leave doesn't get the message through to WWE that it's not working, nothing really will. There's at least half a dozen guys who get great ovations and have a natural following with the fans, yet it's still Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar being portrayed as the only two that really matter in WWE. It's a little sad honestly, but really nothing new (see CM Punk's WWE Championship run in 2012 and how it was overshadowed by whatever John Cena was doing).
- Overall, just not a good show. One great match and another very good one. The rest was just forgettable Raw or SmackDown quality at best.

Day one purchase for me. Loved the first two Spyro games (never did get around to playing the third one). So happy this is actually happening.

Paging through the Toys R Us Big Books catalog and circling all the stuff I wanted was a big part of my yearly Christmas wish list tradition. Heck, even though I didn't go there much now, I still paged through that catalog every year.
Toys R Us is really one of the last places anywhere that you can just walk through the door and instantly go back to your childhood.
It's gonna be really weird and sad the day that they're finally gone for good.
That said, I think I'm even more sad about Best Buy deciding to stop selling CDs by June. That was literally a weekly tradition for me for years.

Not a problem. I was actually wondering the same thing myself until I noticed the block (or whatever you call it) on the inside of her mask. I forget exactly what match it was, but there was one when she was in NXT that you get a really good look at it. If you watch closely now, every once in a while you can see an edge of it if the camera is at the right angle.

There's a little block or something behind/by the mouth that she bites down on to hold it in place during her entrance.
