Maven appreciation, give me a break. Must be running out of ideas in order to make a thread appreciating Maven. Maybe Mantuar or Duke Drosse next. Lame

I always thought 'The Big Guy' was one of the corniest, least creative monikers.....kind of surprised to see that apparently Ryback actually fought to use it. Still not as bad as the "Human Wrecking Ball" that sounds sooo corny every time I hear it

Nice time to re-collect again, and nice figs to star with. Noticed in the pics that the gold sunglasses on the L5 Macho Man actually belong to the RSC Macho King figure, the L5 macho sunglasses are white. it still works though.

The figure is great and all, but the MAJOR problem is that its a 96 Hall head on a 98 Hall attire. same problem with that was with the HOF Yokozuna. I don't get it Hogan has 4 elite's in 6 months and ALL have different heads. Lazy on MDT part with this, why not go all out as they did with Diesel/Nash elites from a few years back? Think how lame it would have been if MDT used the Diesel head on the Nash attire as they are doing here with hall.

Nice start, would suggest adding the winners pin/count out/DQ. as well as a star rating to each match would be nice

Mattel are not as exited about Ghostbuster as they once were. One of the MDT mentioned that it is due to the lack of character depth outside the main 4 leads. Also having Thundercats Classics launch next year has something to do with it, look to be an epic line too cant wait for it.

Wrath is one of those guys that started to get over at the wrong time, with guys like Goldberg, Nash, DDP, Luger, Sting,... all top faces working in the main event. There was no room for him to go to the next level, kind like what happened to Ryback in 2012 who had Cena, Rock, Punk, Orton, HHH, Lesnar,... working on top when he got over.

He had the Internet exclusive which was released in DM packaging. There was the 2k14 Exclusive which was sold solely through Ultimate Creations, but it can hardly be classed as part of the Defining Moments line, I think the original post meant Undertaker is the first to have multiple figures in the actual line. in my opinion,The 2k14 Warrior exclusive should not count as a DM

Roddy Piper
WWE: was most famous for his mid 80s wwe run vs Hogan, after that feud ended he went on to weird feuds against Adrian Adonis, Rick Rude and Bad News Brown. in the early 90's he was on commentary save for a IC title run and WM 8 classic vs Bret and was in and out of the company with lousy feuds vs Lawler and Goldust. I do not think Piper had a shot at the title after the feud with Hogan died off with no apparent victor. save for his 92 RR shot at the strap.
WCW: he was there for 3 years 96-99 came in a main event against Hogan and beat him, and was working in top feuds with NWO, Flair, Bret. until he left. tough choice really.

I think I may be onboard for the filmation figures. They look pretty damn incredible. I hate the MattyCollector format but I think I'm willing to commit to the major characters. I know I'm 100% getting He-man, Skeletor and Beast Man. I may sub though because there isn't a name of the 6 I don't like. My only hesitation is not knowing how extensive they're going to get with the line. If it doesn't do well I don't want to have 7-8 figures and an empty feeling. They will dive deep. If you look on the He-man.org site, which Mattel and the 4Horsemen use as a guide, they are already calling for half the character roster from the cartoon. Don't forget, outside of this 2016 Filmation sub, 2014 had a filmation sub that had Plundor, Strong-Arm, Ice Man, Octavia, Pharoh, Horde Troopers, and soneone else thats soipped my mind. So, there are a hand full of Filmation accurate figures currently available to add to a collection now, while you wait for February 2016. Also, the Hover Robots. Edit* The other character was Lizard Man. Aswell as Shokoti. u forgot Batros

Hogan is known liar, backstabber and ego maniac. I compiled my favorite Lies / Exaggerations the orange goblin has ever said. I am not making any of the below up and can be confirmed with a little bit of research.
- Every time he talks about slamming Andre at WM3, the 8 the wonder of the world's weight kept going up from 500 all the way to 800 lbs. Also Hogan managed to somehow finish the match even after tearing EVERY muscle in his back after that historic slam.
- He just happend to make amends with Macho Man a few weeks before his death and that the dr. told he could of saved randy had he had a check up. Hogan connected the dots of Randy's death and happened to be buds with him again, he knew Randy was isolated from everyone in the business and he would not get caught in this lie.
- In an interview he once said that he was scouted by the NY Yankees and the Cincinnati Reds, but an injury derailed his baseball career from getting started.
- He was buds with Metallica and was asked to join the band early on in the bands career. Lead singer of the band debunked this lie.
- He use to wrestle pride MMA fighters back in the 70's, even though the MMA was not officially around until the 90's
- He led his little league team to wining the world series, Hogan was the star pitcher and captain. The first time he told this story, it was his team losing because his arm got tired due to over playing by his coach, a few years later the story changes to hogan leading the team to victory.
- On the Howard Stern show our hero stated that he was offered the lead role for a little film called "The Wrestler". The director of the movie tried hard to get the hulkster to star in his film, but when Hogan passed on the role it went to Micky Rourk. The director went on twitter and stated that Hogan was lying and was never considered for any role in the film let alone the lead.
- After WM2, Hulk partied all night long with actor john Bulshi. problem is Bulshi died 4 years before WM was even created.
- In the early 80's he was flying so much between US and japan working shows across the globe. Due to the time difference between flying back and forth, hulkster ended up working 400 days one year.
- Hogan one time gave tickets to a very sick kid to come see him in the main event of SummerSlam 1992 in the UK. before the match started he looked at the empty seats of the kid and his family and knew that the kid had died. Hogan was not even in the UK for SummerSlam 92 let alone in the main event.
