These ‘basic’ belts look far better than the elite versions.

A lot of people are familiar with the pink singlet, but Bret wore a black one that is VERY close to Owen's, too! (credit to CrazyTights)Worn on Superstars in late '93 for a promo. I would love at least a Basic of this look, if not an Elite. He even has the pink trim on the shorts! It would be as close as we could get to make it easy for customization. I wonder if the Mattel guys ( Action Figure Attack) are aware of this, because I always assumed Bret just wore the pink version of this. That would be a very easy way to make an owen custom for sure. Lol Would be a smart move as people would buy multiple.

Hi Steve, any details on what day the reveals will be at the Mania superstore in Philly? Travelling from the U.K. and would love to see the panel if that’s a possibility? Is it first come first serve or is it a ticketed thing?

The Bundy shown on the Sam Roberts show screamed ‘Krang’ to me and don’t love the Pillman but fingers crossed the Double J comes out as good as the render suggests as he is a miss in the collection.

I’m travelling to Philly from the U.K. for Wrestlemania 40 and wondered if anyone had any insight into Mattels reveal and the panel they usually do?
Would love to attend the reveal panel but no idea if that’s possible or how it works? I assume the reveals will be on show or Mattel will have a presence at the Wrestlemania ‘superstore’ ?
Has anyone attended these before? Very much hoping to see Steiner brothers, Dudley Boyz and Headbangers in some form.

It’s the worst of all the belts and way overdue a refresh. Plates, particularly the main one too think, blurred/merged lack of detail, too yellow.
The quality of figures Mattel have been putting out in the last couple of years in particular, far outweigh the naffness of the belts and I really hope they redress the balance soon.

Too little too late for me, I got the first ones that should have been gold just as a place holder to complete the ‘orange card set’ until Zombie gets his version of MOMout, I’m not giving Mitch more money for these when he should have done them gold in the first place.

I personally hope Ron is still involved with ZST, it was a pull for me as I loved the Hasbro line so much. Having the guy who actually designed them is absolutely worth something. So what if WWF / Wrestling wasn’t his passion? He was still the guy, weird to say if it wasn’t his passion who gives a monkeys whether he’s involved.

We badly need updated elites or ultimates for Mania 2 & 3. Would be cool to have mania 2 Hogan with bandages around his middle firstly to be accurate but also to differentiate. Mad we haven’t got a improvedMania 3 to go face to face with the recent UE Andre which is so good.

Not for me this one as I’m all about the old school guys but there’s something really off about this, head/neck too big?

All this talk about the Chella Sabu has reminded me that I’ve waited all this time for an attire that makes no sense (not even sure it’s a real attire?) so will be selling it as soon as it arrives anyway. 😅

I still say that they need to make a rubber accessory that fits over the figure and looks like a shirt being torn. They can even make it to where his hands can grab onto it. A shirt with a big ‘ol strip of velcro down the center looks nothing at all like when Hogan tore his shirts. They tried this with the defining moments, it looked terrible. I much prefer the shirts without the Velcro but there must be a better way of engineering a soft goods shirt that is already ripped and can be held by his hands.

An item that showcases front and centre not one but two IC belts and Mattel use the modern Cody Rhodes plates for them. Absolute shambles 🤦🏻♂️ The packaging looks nice but I was already half regretting spending £60+ just for that as the figures are a little off for me but Mattel can’t even be bothered to get the belts correct, it’s being returned. On 1 hand you're right, but on the other hand the other ic title the middle plate is way too long, and this was probably a compromise as they won't rescale the og title for a throwaway set. They could at least have not used WWE network side plates though. So poor when this is a MOC targeted set.

Steve, the effort that has gone in to making a special edition Wrestlemania X set that showcases one of the most memorable Wrestlemania IC matches, the packaging looks fantastic…is there a reason the two belts chosen look to be the 2011 main plate and two WWE network logo side plates?
No big deal for loose collectors but this set clearly has MOC collectors in mind and those belts are front and centre. Are there variants out there or are they all incorrect?

Two things to say. First, to echo gentlemanjohnny just above me, why is there no championship title belt? Secondly, I may have to break my no-Retro rule for this little Hulkster. It looks fantastic. So, if anyone’s interested in the other three and not the Hulkster, drop me a line. I’d take Big John Studd from you…only one I want of the set.

I’m done with G&G. More retro product and companies is great for collectors, as long as the stuff being produced is quality. I bought MOM which are clearly his best by some way and even their colours are off. They’re acting as fillers for the orange card series until Zombie releases his version then Mitch’s will be binned.
I was hoping given some of the cool names he has signed that the product would improve but the renders of everyone look awful and the finished product isn’t much better. The likenesses are iffy to say the least and they’re just not worth the money he’s charging. It’s no coincidence he’s able to turn these things around quicker than most others who actually produce quality collectables.

Bash at the beach and Python power….wouldnt mind a mania 2 with bandages around his torso, even as a basic.
